I beat the 4 Kings with a friend of mine, who I summoned. Holy crap I usually have not a very hard time to kill them. But this time it was so brutal, we struggled so much.
i cried at the toxic mist part
I GOTTA TRY
I beat the 4 Kings with a friend of mine, who I summoned. Holy crap I usually have not a very hard time to kill them. But this time it was so brutal, we struggled so much.
NG+ or..?
Nope, usually I kill them quickly. But on this playthrough I got my ass handed.
Just beat Mega Smough and Ornstein using the touchpad on my laptop which runs the game only on lowest possible settings feels so good man
First time I killed the 4kings I Haveled up and put on iron skin, I was a god.
Finally got moderate invasions being SL32 Gravelord servant in depths. I got invaded by 4 people 2 times each person. But best part was when I got invaded by new player wearing regular knight's armor and bastard sword. He was trying get behind me for a backstab I simply walked in circles to not him let to. After he gave up on backstabbing he decided to hit me with regular attacks. *POOMF* 1 Hit kill parry. [thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/2012-10-09_00009.jpg[/thumb] But then I got invaded by 3 spirits of vengeance at once (Holy shit, What I'm going to do with three of them at once?) I thought, but then I got invaded by darkwraith. Guess what? Darkwraith killed all 3 spirits of vengeance and then goes for me. And I killed him. Feels great.
I'm a little worried about what people might think since it's hard to follow up a video that fell into place so well like the hacker one. This one is a bit different, it's some humorous SL1 PVP highlights. Artorias is visually my favorite boss. The way his broken arm sways and the way he tilts his head and moves bizarrely conveys a sense of twisted primeval madness so well. [editline]9th October 2012[/editline] New video is up! Let me know what you guys think, I really want some feedback on this one since this video is a bit different from the first one. You should still keep your pyros and a backup weapon handy though for when you invade someone high level, it'll happen if people on PC started to duel there.
man i want to see two of you end-game SL1's invade each other that'd be neat

Darkwaiths are the force of nature that add an element of danger to becoming human, to counteract the advantage of being able to use summons. Powerful Darkwraiths that screw you are just as important as powerful Sunbros that save you, they're two sides of the same gameplay mechanic and From Software explicitly encourages that kind of behavior for that reason.
man i want to see two of you end-game SL1's invade each other that'd be neat
If I fight another SL1 I'll be sure to put it up! Whenever I invade a well-equipped player it's most often a NG+ SL 100~ character though.

In those areas you're literally just starting the game, and if someone like you were to invade, you're dead, period. Not a single chance. Unless you miraculously find someone doing the same thing but as a white/gold phantom. The most powerful thing you'd probably be using is the drake sword, and that won't do anything against someone well-equipped. At least in every other area of the game, you're well equipped enough to at least stand a chance on your own, and if not, it's your own fault. But to just be running around the burg with your weapon that does 60 damage and shit armor it's a completely defenseless 1-hit by any upgraded pyro/elemental weapon. And that teaches that person absolutely nothing but "wow people in this game are complete douchebags" (not directed at you). Also, as an SL1 invading the same areas, I was able to invoke those same kinds of reactions with things like iron flesh/skull lantern and pretty much anything unobtainable by that point, without giving myself a distinctly unfair advantage. I'm not trying to come off as arrogant if it seems to be the case, I'm just saying there are different ways to do the same thing that will be more tasteful to the people whose gameplay experiences could potentially be ruined.

I also have footage of me fighting people with a good weapon but completely naked while infected with an egg head.
I love being invaded in the catacombs and then simply flip over those bridges while the invader is crossing it. :v: Today I was doing some coop with a pal of mine, then one invaded. So he went on the bridge and distracted him while I went for the levers, then my friend immediatly ran away and I flipped the bridge, thus killing the invader :v:
I was helping people out with Biggie and Smalls and I got summoned by someone in Dark Anor Londo with a glitched Gwyndolin health bar. Must've been in NG+ too because he was using the Great Lord Greatsword and the Titanite Demon took a fair few hits. He kept using the dried finger so we kept getting invaded and he moved back and forth from the bonfire to keep two summons. We must've killed about 7 Darkwraiths in the span of half an hour before I got lagstabbed and couldn't find him again. GFWL says he was in Taiwan too, this game is weird.

It's my favorite thing to do. Also, I have about 82K souls in the Bed of Chaos arena that I'm really reluctant to get/fight BoC because it's a shit boss. I grabbed it once and immediately got knocked down a hole that shouldn't be right at the start of the fight. I need those fucking souls to be able to level up. I am using that Abyss Greatsword and nobody can stop me.
is there any way to bump up the fps besides the in-game options/upgrading pc i've lowered everything to almost bare minimum but i get really bad frames during some boss fights
Spent an hour trying to get summoned in Anor Londo today. Couldn't find a soul :( [editline]10th October 2012[/editline] I have also found out that not only does the Hawk Ring increase your arrow's range, but it will also increase the damage.

No-one puts their signs down, it's a pain. [editline]10th October 2012[/editline] Nvm, beat him first try. Poor Sif didn't deserve that, but he's from an age long passed and has no further purpose. He died how he should have, defending his master one last time.
It's worse after you complete PTD ;_;
Anyone want to help me with Sif? I'm doing NG+ and he is molesting me edit: Don't worry, I did it.
I wish the multiplayer elements worked, been trying all night to get some help with smough + otherguy and it's just plain impossible solo.

43 I think, NAT is open but every summon is just failing - down to my last 7 humanity.
