From what I've gathered, Forest is good to get invaded at any level because of Darkwraith and Forest Hunter having no upper limit on their invasions. Undead Burg/Parish is only good for low SL and the very rare and occasional NG+ high level. Sen's funhouse/Anor Londo would probably be around 30-50. If you want good PVP I've heard SL100 in the DLC area is by far the most active with SL120 being fairly decent, though I don't have a SL100 and I haven't tried with my SL120.

I'm pumped to do the next episode of my LP tonight. Going to be using the force miracle instead of the shield for reals this time and I have no idea how well it's going to work lol

I'm having a lot of trouble with bosses. Their attacks are way too big to dodge. All other enemies are no problem but bosses take many tries, even the first one took me a lot of running around just to land a few hits. I know the game is supposed to be hard but come on, the bosses feel like cheat, though I am probably doing something wrong.

Perhaps your equipment is too heavy for fast/reliable rolls. You could also try getting a sturdy shield like the Balder or Eagle shields; you'll be able to just block a lot more heavy attacks rather than having to dodge, especially when upgraded.

For every time you roll, the game gives you certain frames in the animation where the enemy cannot hit you. This window of opportunity is hard to hit with heavier rolls, due to the longer animation. Learning exactly what time you need to roll to avoid getting hit is crucial with a lot of bosses and enemies.

When I find myself panicking I spam the dodge button, which is bad. Calm yourself down, learn to read enemy attack animations and you should do fine. Once you get the timing on attacks you can pretty much dodge with a single roll and counter. I find this a lot more efficient than shielding because it drains a lot less stamina (and depending on the attack you don't get knocked back)

Hahahaha Didn't post about this before but my first invasion had the guy spawning on the dragons bridge and being instant killed. My first time in Blight Town of all places, I get invaded, didn't have a bonfire. Guy almost kills me and then rolls off the edge. :v:

Just got back on Dark Souls after having being busy with stuff. And i heard the DLC is coming on Xbox soon enough. Just punched Quelaag to death with my Caestus character on my first go. Pretty much the best of starts.

Made a new character, Faith and strength, wanted to summon to power Havel.. No signs, so I wasted my red eye orbs. Invade a dude dressed as Havel and we have a jolly time and I die. (repeat 2 times). Then I invade a pyromancer, give him a bow and we fight and I get lagstabbed and run to the open area to heal, so he tries to summon help. I furiously ran and backstabbed him and wailed on him til he died, as the phantom appeared. I summon the same phantom and I get this.
