I don't know why there's so much hate towards the Elite Knight set. Slap on Havel's Ring and fully upgrade the chest piece along with some towards the other parts and you have a damn fine set.

I dunno why though, but i like the Regular Knight Armor with everything else being Elite Knight, Than Full Elite Knight Armor.
So I haven't played the game in a long while and I'm severely out of practice, so I'm considering starting a new game. My first/last playthrough was as a Knight, any other recommendations for fun classes?
I joined the Darkwraiths anyway, they have the best covenant items. I'm just trying to figure out how to paste that code into CE now, never really used this shit before.
Did you figure it out?
Did you figure it out?
No, I added you on Steam but figured you were sleeping. Still got no idea what I'm doing.
So I used the 4 cracked red-eye orbs near firelink to invade people for fun at level 10 or so. The first guy I hit was a PvP build and dropped a titanite slab for me. I invaded him the next two times, and he gave me 10 more orbs. This kind of person is infinitely preferable to the people that just invade and slap your PvE build's shit.
There's nothing like slapping a PvP build in the face even when he spams Wrath of the Gods when you're on your PvE Ornstein build.
Having loads of fun playing this game today, I can't wait to get my onion armour haha.
I'm tempted to make a character that doesn't believe in magic for PVP, but I'm not too sure. How good is the Dark Sword?
Oh wow. Me and Saza were fucking around with trainers to make ourselves white phantoms while invading. I invaded some poor bastard dying of toxic, dropped some moss for him and proceeded to roll into everything and do no damage at all. Then Saza somehow managed to invade me while I was naked and killed my with his lightning bonewheel. Breaking games is just as much fun as playing them normally.

It'd be cool if in the next souls game there was an orb that let you invade as a "ghost", only able to walk around and do gestures, maybe even things like opening/closing doors. It's pretty fun to watch people fuck up as they're playing the game, plus it could give you some insight on how to clear an area out more easily.
I'm almost level 60, reckon I should do the DLC now?
There's nothing like slapping a PvP build in the face even when he spams Wrath of the Gods when you're on your PvE Ornstein build.
Half the time a PvP build is built around a gimmick like toxin. I hate having people invade just to throw dung pies at me and run away. It feels so good if when you catch them though.

I use a Balder Side Sword +10 or 15, whichever it goes up to and a Bloodshield +10. If I want to medroll I use a Lightning Bonewheel Shield +5 and in addition I use Abyss Greatsword, which I love dearly. My armor is Armor of the Sun +10, Elite Knight Head +10, Wanderer Boots +10 and Dingy Gloves or whatever I can fit and still light roll +10.

When I want a shield, I end up with swords out the ass. Now I have shields but no sword.
also, WoG and TWoP are specifically reserved for people who spam that spell that makes four dark orbs that chase you and do stupidly high amounts of damage. if you're an ass who spams that to kill people I'll be an ass too [editline]22nd October 2012[/editline] Is the Obsidian Greatsword worth the hassle of cutting off the dragon's tail? I use the Abyss Greatsword right now but apparently the 2h R2 attack is an AoE
My only experience with WoG was when a guy invaded and spammed it until he ran out, but he used them all when I was far enough away to be safe. [editline]22nd October 2012[/editline] The moral of the story is gimmicks are stupid.
I've just picked up my Catarina set, but I chose a large character model so it doesn't look like I have any arms when I'm idol

Looks pretty kickin' rad.
Eastern chest and gloves + Dingy hood and Wanderer pants 4 lyfe
I really love the eastern helmet, it looks so ridiculously awesome. Unfortunately the armor is rather heavy.
The elite knight set is my favorite looking armor. Looks pretty kickin' rad.
In loving memory of Oscar, who slipped through a hole in the roof while trying to break you out.
I could never find the heart to kill him despite how much time it would save me. :v:
I just give him a good slap to get past it faster. It's okay though, he gets his revenge... he usually finds a way to scare the shit out of me when I visit the Asylum again, since he's never actually in that room for me.

Black Sorcerer's Hat, Armor of Thorns, White Knight Gloves and Pants. Wearing that while wielding a +10 Fire Flamberge, +5 Lightning Shotel, +5 Blood Shield and +15 Pyro Glove. Invading on Sen's Fortress rooftops has never been more satisfying. [sp]Praise be to Swashy for this build[/sp]
In loving memory of Oscar, who slipped through a hole in the roof while trying to break you out.
I think it's more likely that he got slammed by the Asylum Demon through the roof, to be honest.
I want to make a PVP character. You guys got some mad good tips for someone like me?
