So my friend and I are as usual PvPing with our RP builds. Tonight's fun: Black Knights, using the Greataxe. I have the shield as well.
One guy invades me when we couldn't summon the other. He's Havel, literally.
Except he had stamina hacks or something because he never stopped swinging.
I died and my soul recovery was off the map.
That's two million souls I'll never see again..
That's a fun build. I wish I could BB again, it's annoying having to play through from scratch.

I know annoying it is when the host doesn't bother to heal up his phantoms, so when I summoned some idiot with a shit weapon and gold-hemmed robes, I made sure to keep him stocked up. When super Pikachu skewers and thunderbolts him, he's back on full health before he hits the ground.
I don't think he did much damage but that's ok, at least he tried.

Is there really much of a difference between 47 poise and 53 poise?

Yes actually. 51 poise will resist hits from Ultra-greatswords one handed and 53 will for general greatswords and that. Explained well on the wiki.

Apparently GS have been nerfed (the recovery animation is longer) so I think 47 poise won't be too bad.

Forest PVP is all fun, until you get gang raped.
I'm absolutely terrible at PVP, more than half of my victories are a result of players rolling off to their deaths in the forest.
Whenever I invade, I just camp out along the edges of a cliff, praying that my opponents will be stupid enough to fall to their deaths.
there's no summons at the bonfire near quelaag :(

I've been invaded by three people at once, all there were Park Rangers.
I won. PvP in this game is great, but 90% of the people who do it are a complete laugh if I can smash them with a joke RP build and they're using a PvP build.
