I like how someone just said "you shouldn't have to adjust your playstyle to fight someone" though. You have to be light rolling to dodge it a fair amount of the time. Why should I have to change my playstyle to suit someone using something that's not balanced? If you're going to argue at least don't be hypocritical about it.

Most importantly, a +5 crest shield negates all the damage. it's 100% physical and 80% magic resist, and dark magic is roughly 80% magic, 20% physical. so guess what, you complaining fuck, you can solve ALL YOUR FUCKING PROBLEMS if you just hold the block button just like that, you've negated an entire build with one button you're right, it is fucking op someone should go find whoever suggested that to fromsoft and lynch him because clearly he has no idea how this game works i mean come on who puts magic in the game that's so unbelievably overpowered that you can avoid it by pressing one button i mean come on who has time for that instead i'll be a douchewad and cheat because i have no self respect and cry myself to sleep at night because i can't play a videogame why don't you go play barbie adventure then again it might be too hard so bring your game genie

That's the dumbest fucking argument ever - if I have a nuke that kills everyone in one hit, in unlimited range, in every world, but I only get ONE use, is that balanced because I can only use it once? The best part of this whole thing is that I'm a troll now because I pointed out something was unbalanced and not once did anyone give me any real reasons why it is actually balanced (it's not), or fallacies in their arguments. Also, beed weapons won't kill people with infinite health. the bleed triggers do ~60k damage, but that's not quite how infinite health cheats work anyway so it's irrelevant. also if you can cheat then you don't even have to backstab them, just run up to them, ignore their attacks entirely, and hit them until they die. if you're already insisting on taking all the challenge out of the game why even bother giving them a fair chance

So far, there is no 'infinite hp cheat'. You can set your HP very high, which for all intensive purposes makes it infinite, but even if you have the Undead cheat on, which will let you get to 1hp and stop taking damage; bleed damage still kills you with that enabled. Furthermore, it's not like I can cheat and just 'activate mega kill in one hit go through shield damage' cheat. Because that doesn't exist. They can still block my attacks and stuff you know. Please, argue more about 'cheating' with a 'cheater'.

Let's say you're fighting an invincible hacker, and you have a bleed weapon, you [i]will[/i] lose if he just nonstop r1 spams you to death. You wouldn't be able to fill his bleed meter enough times quickly enough to kill him. And unless that person literally did not understand how the game works, they would still be able to heal.
