Just got to Nito today, never in my life have I ragequit so hard.
All the other skeletons are a major pain in the ass and makes it incredibly hard to navigate around Nito. I usually waited until Nito did his explosive attack, which also killed the other skeletons. Then I whacked him a few times. After a few tries with this method I managed to pull it off.
hheavy armor, estus, toxic cure moss, fire weapon. if you have a divine weapon, kill the little skeletons and they won't respawn. otherwise, ignore them and beat the shit out of nito.
That, and only fight him in the first half of the room, dont go to the other side where he spawns as you'll have giant skeletons up your ass while your fighting Nito.

Ugh, I cannot kill the capra demon. I die within 10 seconds of coming into contact with him.
Ugh, I cannot kill the capra demon. I die within 10 seconds of coming into contact with him.
The method I use is shield up as soon as I enter the gate. Run up the stairs and wait for him to follow, then fall down the side and deal with the dogs. Works all the time since the Capra Demon has to go all the way down the stairs again just to meet with you. To be fair, I acted like that for the first...oh, ten hours of my playtime. Until I learned what I was doing, of course.
I want to have sex with the music developer of this game. The boss battle music lets you feel your blood pumping through you as you're on your last estus trying to inch away at the Boss's tiny little health chunk left, with your thoughts racing.

Oh snap, I got indicted because I'm trying to get kills for a Fog Ring. I hope I don't get invaded by a Darkmoon anytime soon D: Slapped a Forest Hunter Farmer's face with a GCF w/ Glove +15. He got staggered then by my Quelaag's Fury Sword got burned to a crisp. I knew he was a farmer because he had some sunbro buddies
Tomb of the Giants
[sp]Patches[/sp] died not by my hand, but from one of those bitch undead beasts chasing me and bodyslamming him into the pit where he kicked people into.

I got invaded literally 5 seconds after getting my first indictment, and I was thinking "holy shit", until I roasted the invader's face off with a single great combustion. :v:
Im going to play the Dark souls drinking game tonight with some mates, Ofcourse we bumped up the rules abit.
If you die | everyone takes a drink If you beat a boss, | everyone takes a drink Everytime you heal estus/humanity, You take a drink realtime (while playing) Each time you level up, | take a drink Everytime you light the bonfire/sit | everyone takes a drink Everytime you pick up a new weapon | take a drink Everytime you level a weapon or armour | take a drink Everytime a player lights the bonfire and you get a extra estus | take a drink and the player gets another shot added to the table If you retrieve a bloodstain | everyone but the player drinks Everytime you take falling damage | take a drink
There will be more but i can't really think not until we start playing.
Alright, Nito was actually pretty easy, I'm never fucking going to the Tomb Of Giants again though. Now I'm stuck on the [sp]Four Kings[/sp], I'm using iron flesh and they just seem to gang up on me too fast. Oh well, at least they're easy to get to.
you will have died within an hour of playing
Dude...it hurts so bad...no more....no more... i havn't even reached the gargoyles yet.
Alright, Nito was actually pretty easy, I'm never fucking going to the Tomb Of Giants again though.
They allways say that, you'll be back...
[sp]Patches[/sp] died not by my hand, but from one of those bitch undead beasts chasing me and bodyslamming him into the pit where he kicked people into.
I killed him because I told him I was a cleric and he doesn't like that. Though I was just being honest.
I accidently ran into New Londo Ruins. Oh god what have I done.
I realize most of the thread is beyond this point, but can anybody offer some advice on the Bell Gargoyle fight? I'm a knight and I can deal pretty easily with one of them, but when the second one comes, it totally screws me over. What usually happens is one of them breathes fire and the other is close enough to hit me, but is always in the fire so I can't hit him. Pulling out my crossbow never works because they always get in range again before I can get out my shield. Advice?

I managed it by rolling far back enough so that only one of them could attack me, and then attacking it, repeating it however many times was required before it died.
And as far as blocking is concerned, try using a Dragon Crest Shield. It'll absorb a lot more fire damage than some of the other shields.

My only advice is to A: summon someone and also summon solaire, and B: try to roll more than block. Blocking is a bad habit you'll need to break eventually. Rolling is far better for like. Everything. Gets you into position, avoids attacks, won't get crazy knockback like blocking does, and uses less stamina. I'm not a good person to ask. Look up a walkthrough/boss guide on youtube, those are usually informative. [editline]10th March 2012[/editline] The only real downside to summoning someone in front of the church at this point is that everyone's so full of twinks and darkwraith defenders that it's likely you'll get someone (like me) who will two-shot the gargoyles. Which is great, except you lose experience. And also you'll miss out on hair-ripping grief that every boss fight tries to give you. Have fun at Ornstein.

I have the white soapstone, but I can't quite figure out what to do. It would certainly help to have someone else to have them breath fire at though.

But you can only summon while Human. You don't need to do anything with the white soapstone.
Should I put the rest of my points into STR, bringing it up to 49? Or should I put it up to 40 and put the rest of the points into something like Attunement or VIT? After picking up Sunlight Blade, I have room for a pyromancy spell or two and maybe another Faith spell. Any suggestions?
