I started the DLC with my SLVL 64 Dex character. [sp]Artorias[/sp] kept pushing my shit in so I went to get all of the Lord Souls before continuing the DLC. So... what does the fog ring/hidden body look like to other people? Same as on your screen? I'm wondering if I should make a build using it, but I can't see it being that useful since I'm going to glow red...

Hey, how does one shield bash with those colored-Knight's shield? I did it with the Black Knight Shield, but I can't figure out how to do it again.

Oh what the fuck. I got summoned by a guy who had just been invaded, he wasn't wearing any pants and the invader was using sorceries and the Darkmoon crown. He tried aggroing a Silver knight but I killed it easily. He used pursuers and tried to rape the host but I stabbed him for most of his HP. He tried to run away to heal up but I followed. In a last ditch effort he used White Dragon Breath and killed me at the exact same time as I skewered him. I figured at least the host survived, he wasn't stupid enough to get killed by that. And then a message popped up about the host being killed. He was standing right behind me and was killed in one shot from the Dragon Breath. Fuck this game.

Is the Shotel enchantable?

The fog ring can still be useful as an invader though, depending on what area you invade at. It'll also make soulmass and pursuers much harder to hit you.

Download Cheat Engine 6.2 (Can't do it with 6.1 or lower) > open DATA.exe > change value type to string > search for your GFWL username (case sensitive) Now you may see anywhere from like 8 to 50+ addresses depending on how long since the game has been launched. Shift+click to select them all (except the green ones), right click and press "add selected address to address list" . Now shift+click all of those in the address list, press enter and change it to the name you want. If it worked you should see your different name when you look at your summon sign. You don't actually [I]need[/I] to change them all, it's just that I have no idea what the specific address is.

It comes up as Lautrec the Guilty when you invade him with the Black Eye Orb. Either that, Lautrec the Embraced or Knight Lautrec all work. A Shotel in each hand, Parrying dagger secondary on off-hand, make your build for Dex because great scaling, definitely use FAP ring and either Havels for fast roll or Red tearstone because Carim.

I just got a Chrome malware alert when I tried viewing the OP. Anyhow, my friends are all chattering positively about this game and I will be sure to give it a try eventually.

if you get it on pc make sure you ask questions here about how to make it the easiest game you've ever played and give yourself 99 of everything and trivialize the entire point of the game i'm sure it enhances the experience

Then I will spoof my gamertag.[/QUOTE] You don't need much Endurance to wear the Embraced set without fat-rolling but unless you pick up Havels rather than your glorious FaP ring, you need an absurd amount for fast-rolling. Probably go low level, maybe Blighttown or Sens and put plenty into Vit because without a shield you might be fucked.

So I'm currently using the black knight sword, but am thinking of equipping the black knight greatsword once I have enough strength. Is it worth it, though? The stats don't seem to differ at all. Since it's an ultra greatsword, I guess it has greater range/breaks through poise easier? I'm not planning to use it for pvp (save for the few times I get invaded).
