Well, if anyone complains. I'll just say I'm doing my job as a Darkwraith. I don't have time for honor, if i wanted to fight people fairly. I'd be at the Burg or something.

I'm surprised I've been successful. I don't have any elemental weapons. Just pure Iron and Steel, or wood... or bone, or Dragon, unless otherwise (Furysword for example)

And at the time of writing this message, i got a mail saying "That was pretty cheap". How convenient.

I barely have my magic related stats high enough to use the Moonlight Greatsword but I'm using it at the cost of some dex and faith (normally my char's an Ornstein build, so I use the Great Lightning Spear) I put into intelligence and a bit into strength.

Just because ignoring shields is great and I enjoy the R2 attack set.

Coupled with the shrug emote and I've already gotten fan mail.

I seriously need the Dickwraith armor though and cracked red orbs are annoying to get
maybe I go Darkwraith instead of my current Gravelord.

For me, Darkroot Garden at soul level 120 is "walk in, fog doors instantly, invaded within a minute"

Though if I ever do use cracked orbs it's in the burg

also the AI has been really retarded for me today, the Gaping Dragon didn't slam his floppy, toothy vagina chest on the ground until after like, 10 minutes of chasing me around for no fucking reason, and Beatrice acted like the Moonflight Butterfly didn't exist

also: should I use greatswords or ultra greatswords for PvE?

Up to you, really. I've seen people use claymores and zweihandlers still, and the odd Gravelord sword too. Really, anything could be useable. I'm using a silver straight sword for the most part and it's served me well for this moment of time.

Just invaded someone, Saw them run outside through the giant doors of the hallway, outside. I ran to where you find the Dragon Slayer Bow, dropped a Hello Carving and dropped by on top of his head soon after. Poor bugger didn't see it coming.

so i decided to completely max out my stats just for the hell of it so i could rush manus quickly for pursuers

if your health is above 9999 you instantly die when you sit at a bonfire. also if your stats are above 99 they don't scale, which is odd.

Finally beat the game. That ending was anti-climactic... [sp]Did I miss something or is your character being lit on fire all there is to it?[/sp] Pursuers wrecks the shit out of anything... Gwyn was a cakewalk compared to the rest of the game... Chaos Bed 2012 never forget.

Fuck, I love Duke's. Here's my invasion data from the last hour.

Notable invasions:

One guy was eaten by a mimic, which was amazing. He indicted me, too, which made it even better.

One guy didn't see my sneak up behind him and he was in the gold hemmed gear, so I just cast pursuers, got into his field of vision, then ran in circles while pursuers gave him a new butthole. Also indicted.

The last invasion might have been my favorite. I found him in the big library tower thing on the bottom floor, but he didn't see me. I sat up at the top behind the doors and waited. Once I saw his head pop out I cast pursuers, and then surprised him with pursuers and a backstab. He was wearing Havel's so I had to throw in a Black Flame too.

also I'll do an hour long 'sitting as a human in the Garden' test and see how much; averaging from last time I get 30+ invasions, around 10 have more than one invader, and roughly 90% of them were a victory in my favor.

I'll do it tomorrow though if at all; I'm honestly pissed off at Dark Souls because I'll rest at the bonfire right inside Lost Izalith but then 'lolnope you're back at the bonfire before the demon firesage in Demon Ruins!' and every time I get to the Bed of Chaos that fucking dickhole hits the ground RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME and I fall every single fucking time.

So, I decided to help out/invade the undead church.

I always bow or wave to people, as my sign of a respectful duel. It pisses me off, however, when people take advantage of this and kill me as I'm doing the animation. It wasn't all bad though, as the first person I invaded was also the last person I helped with the Taurus Demon. I felt almost sad as I watched their character fall to the floor in pain.

Then, after about 5 assists with players and around 12 invasions, I decided to finish the Belfry Gargoyles. I summoned a Sunbro, and as we were just about to enter the fogwall, an invader popped up. I decided not to make them wait another minute to invade somebody else, and to fight honorably. That wasn't possible, seeing as he was an invincible douchebag with a cestus.

I mean really, I understand using cheats and being invaded. You just want to finish the game, I don't mind. But when you use cheats to invade another player, just to be an ass, that's where it doesn't make sense to me. What's the point of invulnerability when you just invaded a level 5 Cleric? I don't get people these days.
