Once I took a break for my 6+ hour session Seath became a joke. Maybe I just got lucky but I killed him in one try.

Lightning does a shitton of damage to him, get a Lightning weapon if possible.

I saw some people on /v/ bitching about how the game never tells you how to kill dragons, but it does. In like 30 different ways. In the intro, Gwyn throws a bolt of fucking spear lightning that promptly wrecks the shit out of a dragon, so one can assume that lightning is some dope ass shit. [b]DRAGONSLAYER[/b] Ornstein has a spear that shoots lighting, and hands that conjure lightning. Not only that, but his rad spear's description says it was used to slay dragons. Fuck. Did you also know that the Asylum demon weakens the ground when he jumps down for the first time, leading to the floor's collapse, or that you can see one of the butchers on a ceiling beam before she jumps down to wreck your shit? DETAIL.

What about the drakes that breath lightning?

well i can see why people hate the artorias fight in the dlc 4 tries and counting and even though i can dodge most of his attacks i deal 43 damage a hit , this may take a while also the guardian was easy took me 3 tries and 1 of them was to figure out attack patterns

Especially later on against enemies with strong attacks, they'll destroy your stamina if you just try to facetank it with a shield.
