What is a good place to PvP on the PC?
I really want to go somewhere that isn't the Darkroot Garden.

Oolaclie township for dueling. Anor Londo seems to be the best for regular invading.
Oh damnit. I need one person to summon me for Taurus so I can join the sunbros!
Buuuut apparently no one plays on PC at this time.
I really hope they make DLC for other areas like Thorolund and Vinhiem. I really want to explore new areas.

Not alot of people summon for Taurus, as in I've never seen a summon for him at all. Try putting a summon sign near the elevator in Undead Parish, people use summons for the gargoyles fairly commonly.
so, I forgot to free lautrec before killing the gargoyles, is that bad or really bad?

He still manages to escape I think, you just miss out on a sunlight medal.
Did you try reloading your game after he died?
Hmm? Why would I do that?
Hmm? Why would I do that?
well I imagine the ring would spawn back at the middle of the room.
If you kick the bodyguard with the flip ring or the pharis archer off the ledge then reload the game their items drop on their spawn position.
I could be wrong since this was special.
Just got my controller and it's so awkward to use after playing with mouse and keyboard for over 100 hours so far, I guess because I'm used to the mouse/keyboard controls by now.
You know something, at the end of the game the Chosen Undead possesses two shards of a powerful Lord soul, a weakened but still very powerful Lord soul, and a Lord soul that it as powerful now as when they challenged the Dragons. They possess more than each of the primeval Lords had on their own.
They could really do something with that.
My copy of demons souls should have arrived today :) after 103 hours In ds I thought it was time I tried it

You know, that's a good idea actually! He must have died from falling off so it makes sense that it would appear back from where he fell off. I wonder if it would still be there, I'm not sure what kind of time/restart limit there is for items on the ground.
I really, REALLY, dislike the Oolicile(sp?) sorcerers with the black magic spells. If I rush them, I get pushed back by their melee and then don't have enough time to dodge their close ranged spell. If I stay back to shoot an arrow, I'm bound to get hit by their long range spell. And even if I sit behind a wall to think for too long, they have a black mist to hit me there too.
This is getting very frustrating, especially since I've completed the DLC before with little to no problems in this area.
Yep, they are quite the bastards... They cost me a fucking Vargrant...
I'm still not happy about that, the very thought of then makes me rage slightly due to that.

Their black fog attack is short range. Just hide behind a wall and wait for them to laugh then run out and do a running attack.

I've tried that as well, it works if I make sure that they are completely alone. However, this isn't a possibility on the steps before you reach the Chasm where there are two casters next to each other.
Can you poison them with arrows? I have some left over from the last time I bought them.
I had no problem with them whatsoever, just dodge a spell or two on your way towards them and attack them, they have shit poise.

Get the cast light spell or a skull lantern or the sunlight maggot and explore the township a bit. You'll find a wall that has an orange soapstone mark near it. It'll tell you to use light to open the way. Use one of those items and the wall will open. You can find a silver pendant item that reduces black magic damage significantly. It's super helpful for the DLC areas.
I try not to use the same nicknames twice in a row.
Biggie Smalls and Oreo & Smores are the only ones I've heard recently. Biggie Smalls will always be my favorite. Drake and Josh seems to be making a comeback as a nickname as well.

What exactly ARE the kb+m controls? I can't see a way that would make that NOT incredibly awkward. At all.
Gravelord kind of sucks, waited an hour in Sen's with no invasions...

I use the mouse and keybaord with the hotfix fine - Changed it around a bit but I have Mouse1 as R1 mouse2 as R2 then the two sidebuttons as parry and target lock. Scrolling up selects furthest guy, down closest.
The rest are just keyboard around WASD with ctrl being walk toggle and space being roll/sprint/jump etc.
I stopped using my controller when the mouse fix came out, but then again I always struggle with controllers.

Probably could yeah. At that part I just hid behind the pillars waited for a laugh, came in with two quick strikes to kill one, rolled past the spell the other guy used and did 2 hits on him too.
Holy shit, pursuers we annoying at first until I realized the best way to dodge them is to roll forward through them. It basically makes pursuers useless.

Well, the notable things are that I found it much easier to lock on KB/M while sprinting, and half the time when I switch my items with the pad it also switches something in either or both of my hands. Also I found it generally easier to look around while sprinting.

Or just throw a knife at them, supposedly if the caster is hit while persuers are active them immediately disappear.

if they dodge the knife you're locked in place long enough to get hit
if you use silver pendant you get backstabbed -> black flame
if you roll through pursuers, you're probably going to win because you've just neutralized 90% of the damage you were expected to get
[editline]1st November 2012[/editline]
it works the exact same way as rolling through the final hit of a bleed build-up
[editline]1st November 2012[/editline]
If I see someone roll through my Pursuers, I'm probably not going to use any more magic during the fight. If they're smart enough to avoid pursuers, they'll probably avoid dark bead. The only time I use magic when I see that happen is after a parry. dark bead after a parry deals full damage. Good goddamn luck avoiding a 1700 damage spell at point blank.
[editline]1st November 2012[/editline]
if you time it right you can get a riposte in too. that's just brutal. parry, dark bead, riposte, black flame. shrug.
Gravelord kind of sucks, waited an hour in Sen's with no invasions...
Gravelording is only good in popular PvP areas because it acts like a constant dried finger. Random people won't invade you via the sign because they don't want PvP plus it's not like they have black phantoms in their world anyway, unless they're in NG+.
You don't have to be in NG+ to have black phantoms; it's just there's a higher chance of being infected if you are.
So who was Gwyn's wifey?
