You can only be invaded in areas that you have not killed the boss of. Same thing with summoning.
Except for Dark Anor Londo. I got invaded there even though I killed O&S and Gwyndolin, although I'm pretty sure that's part of the whole "eternal curse" thing.
Weird. I've been invaded in areas I've killed the boss to.
I'm fairly certain you are open to invasions by Darkmoons if you've been indicted, even if the area's boss is cleared. This has happened to me in Darkroot garden (not the forest), and I think the Depths.
Haha, I was fighting Taurus on my new character and right as he got me down to low HP he turned to attack me, did the back-jump move, and fell off the walkway :v: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/4tPlz.jpg[/img_thumb]
I want to try a strengh build, although I do not want to use the clubs or some huge ass swords. Any other suggestion what weapon is designed for strengh. I am used to dexterity weapons, strenght my not be my type.

I used the claymore several times, I quite like it. But I never really used it that far into the game, only in the beginning. Is it worth the upgrade it?
I don't like it much but for my strength dude, I played the entire game with the Black Knight Sword I got from the first knight in the Undead Burg
I used the claymore several times, I quite like it. But I never really used it that far into the game, only in the beginning. Is it worth the upgrade it?
I use it on my level 120 and adore the thing. <3 my +15 claymore.
Also if I should for a build with slower weapons, should I invest more into vitality. Well, create a tank class or is it possible to have a fast and quick combatstyle with claymores. I usually dodge and attack with my nifty katana or falchion.
It's a badass scottish sword used to kill everyone. It's the best.
Its THE best weapon in the game for speed, reach and dead angle balance.

Hah! Balder Side Swords. That's for wimps! Real men use parrying daggers in both hands.
Wow, you get 120k souls for killing the Iron Golem in NG+... but only 150k for O&S. I expected at least 200k. [editline]2nd November 2012[/editline] That was also the hardest fight I've had with O&S since my first playthrough.
Wait. I just... killed the Four Kings on my first try? Without help? WHAT KIND OF STRANGE WORLD HAVE I ENTERED WHERE AM I
I killed them on my first try with no problems, they went down like bitches Four Kings? more like Four Swings [sp]of my sword haHAHA[/sp]
Somebody sent me this on Steam http://1-media-cdn.foolz.us/ffuuka/board/vg/image/1351/28/1351282262421.jpg Stupid sexy everlastings.
I killed them on my first try with no problems, they went down like bitches Four Kings? more like Four Swings [sp]of my sword haHAHA[/sp]
Because +5 moonlight 2 stronk.
shotel>everything else
shotel>everything else
I pull out my +5 Obsidian Greatsword and proceed to poise lock you.
shotel>everything else
It's funny using the shotel against people who don't know the strong attack ignores shields. They start scrambling around after you hit them two or three times, it's great. :v:
my giant blacksmith hammer is kind of bad now that they nerfed lightning :( i loved that thing absolutely no one knew how to react to it
So, I decided to help someone with quelaag before fighting her and they end up getting killed within the first 5 seconds of the fight. After that, they summoned me again, and this time they just sat there (healing me occasionally) while I killed her by myself, though they did poke her a few times but that doesn't really count, they spent pretty much the entire fight about 20 feet away from quelaag at all times. Then I went and fought quelaag in my game and died without doing any damage. [sp]I killed her near flawlessly my second try though[/sp]
They became the equivalent of Maneater Mildred in that fight, then, I guess. When she isn't wandering right into the lava, she's running around to Quelaag's backside to swing at her only to endlessly miss. [editline]2nd November 2012[/editline] Speaking of running aimlessly into lava, holy shit Solaire I'm trying to lure the centipede thingamajig over to us stop running right at it like an idiot and getting burned to death aaaaa

Though this was after getting through all of blighttown from the top without dying so it felt great.[/sp]

Though maybe it was having a +14 halberd then, I dunno.
I felt like changing my avatar for a bit. I have to commend a friend of mine in my college, he went into a halloween party in a club dressed as Solaire and people recognised it. Top job.
