So after putting this down for months, I've decided to get back into it. Only problem is I don't have any idea what builds are up to date and such :v:
Fighting Nito is about as fun as contracting a terminal disease, such a shit fight
how are you having trouble with nito
Fighting Nito is about as fun as contracting a terminal disease, such a shit fight
when you land, stay where you are. let the skeletons come to you, kill them with divine weapons if possible. wait for nito to catch up, get in super close, and swing until he's dead. if you hear screaming, you can try to roll, i guess, but you're probably just boned.
He said a shit fight, not a hard one Okay maybe I was wrong

It took me all 10 flasks and a good 20 minutes to get him down to half health. My weapons seem to be extremely weak.

I used a +5 Silver Knight Straight Sword, and it cut through him like butter.

I used a +10 divine claymore in one of my playthroughs, I'd do like ~80 damage per hit to bosses. If that wasn't a coop playthrough I would have never killed the later bosses by myself...
Divine is only really useful for high faith builds and the catacombs. Even with a faith build, lightning is still a good all-around choice.
Divine is only really useful for high faith builds and the catacombs. Even with a faith build, lightning is still a good all-around choice.
I had like 60 faith. I guess they'd be alright for PvP.
Then I take that back, divine is crap.
i beat him with a drake sword, i didn't even HAVE a divine weapon. took me MAYBE eight minutes. are you using a sword hilt?
Lighting spear + 2 I think?
For the Catacombs I just make a Divine weapon for something I don't care about. It can be anything. I get the skeleton to low HP, finish 'em off with that. Win - win, I don't have to waste a weapon on making it divine, and I get to keep my other weapons as they are.
Lighting spear + 2 I think?
Get yourself a good sword and ascend it as high as you can. I recommend +10 and then on to lightening, alternatively get a Silver Knight Sword and grind some twinkling titanite from the clams near Seath, then +5 it.
even for faith builds, occult tends to scale better than divine.
Occult does bonus damage to most bosses.
i meant in pvp, but yes that's true too.

Occult doesn't do any bonus damage to players, however. no but if your faith is above like 35 (which it should be in a faith build), occult scales better than divine. I think. yes swag swords go to 15
Occult doesn't do any bonus damage to players, however.

i meant in pvp, but yes that's true too.
I was just saying since some people were having problems with faith builds in PvE, you might want to try switching between divine and occult weapons depending on the enemies.
IIRC the difference between divine and occult at high levels of faith is about 10 damage. Do fist attacks from the dragon torso stone scale with your covenant rank?
eh. 10 damage is 10 damage. Yeah, they do.
Just got my first Slab from a Darkwraith. I praised the sun hard.
making a sl 120 build that goes into the forest as a human with fog ring and slumbering dragon ring I will then sneak around the forest with a dragonslayer bow and a longbow and have myself a hunt with the invaders The Most Dangerous Game anyone?
Where should i be invading as a level 100? I dunno if i should be regretting leveling up to level 100 from level 50...
