i'm at 114 indictions now. I'm in the top 150.
Mega jealous.
TRUE STORY
so i'm on skype with my bud and we're getting ready to play some dark souls, right? i log in with no problems but he can't get in to gfwl. he can't reset his password, retrieve his account info or anything. what's a guy to do? call customer service so he calls and we're both prompted with the longest automated voice machine ever. we must have been there for about five minutes and by then we're both fuming mad and when it asks for his name he screams it with the biggest amount of rage i've ever heard. ALL FOR A CALL BACK, so that even adds to the fuming hatred we get a call back a few minutes later and the guy on the other end of the phone can't make out my buddy's name because he yelled it so loud that it's distorted, so he spells out his ridiculous last name (westendorf) and he keeps calling the guy dick even though his name is herald or something like that the guy asks for all of my buddy's profile information, which he has plus serial numbers for games and all kinds of other shit to authenticate that he owns the account and the guy STILL decides not to reset his password, like what the fuck fuck callcenters and fuck gfwl
I really wish there was away for me to expose myself to much more PvP, while still being able to explore the world and do stuff. Knowing I'll never be invaded by a darkwraith at the burg, or invaded by forest hunters etc at Darkroot makes me sad. I might try and do a very few boss kills run, but without some of the boss-kill only gear (darkwraith armour) it'll be sort of sad.
Mega jealous.
dark sorceries at level 50 are hilarious crown of dusk, bellowing dragoncrest, tin crystal cat. EVERYTHING DIES.
dark sorceries at level 50 are hilarious crown of dusk, bellowing dragoncrest, tin crystal cat. EVERYTHING DIES.
Last checked I only had ~50 indictions but I don't use dark magic or anything. I use the Moonlight Greatsword and bleed weapons, though :v:
against newer players, i cast pursuers and run around in circles. against good players, I tend to cast pursuers, then dark bead. against players that know how to avoid dark sorceries or use the silver pendant, I use pursuers and then backstab them while they SP, followed by black flame. for guys that summon, I show no mercy. Pursuers, parry, dark bead, riposte, black flame. That's like 4500 damage. also, i shrug. A lot.
It's not like you CAN'T MAKE A NEW ACCOUNT OR ANYTHING
need a new serial ### for all of the other gfwl games
I save indictions for people who use dark magic, to be honest, but if you kill me any other way you're pretty good and I won't indict you. because most people don't like being indicted, you know? [editline]5th November 2012[/editline]
need a new serial ### for all of the other gfwl games
oh that's true well yeah that sucks I guess
also, i shrug. A lot.
Shrugging is the icing on the douchebag cake and I love it.

SL 50 caster. Hopefully I'll get some fun out of this, but considering the only people I seem to invade are SL 100+ backstab fishers, this could be very un fun. This moonlight greatsword seems to be doing okay, and at 36 int with the tin crystallization catalyst, I can do some pretty good damage. I also have chameleon, for good measure. Painted world, here I come.
I don't get why people love the Moonlight Greatsword so much(That special is annoying as shit). I mean, the S scaling with Intelligence is sexy, but I'd much prefer an Enchanted Rapier or Longsword.
Its a fucking amazing sword, it dead angles and breaks poise.
I never said it was a bad sword, I guess it's just personal preference for me to stay away from slower weapons.
Its a fucking amazing sword, it dead angles and breaks poise.
As does any other greatsword. Sure, the specials are nice, but it's nice to be able to stunlock people with a follow-up R2 and not have to worry about Great Magic Barrier.

Its what makes it special.
About to take on a boss, used my last humanity so I could summon the Solitare Knight. Suddenly I get invaded by some fuckhuge knight easily three times my level. I blocked practically all his attacks and scored a few clean hits when he swung his sword with two hands, but I eventually made a mistake and died. Fucker made me lose my last humanity point and I was forced to take on the boss alone.

And at least you stood and fought; I've invaded a few times and had people disconnect from GFWL to boot me from their game. It's understandable why you'd do that, though.
Solitaire Knight???? i heard it's not even worth summoning solaire, he just increases the boss's HP and dies super quickly
I've invaded a few times and had people disconnect from GFWL to boot me from their game. It's understandable why you'd do that, though.
I don't know, this has always kind of annoyed me. It wastes everyone's time, including theirs, when they disconnect while being invaded. It's pretty easy to just play the game offline if they really don't want to be invaded.
Solitaire Knight???? i heard it's not even worth summoning solaire, he just increases the boss's HP and dies super quickly
But.. but.. jolly co-operation!
But.. but.. jolly co-operation!
On bosses like the Four Kings, Quelaag, and Gaping Dragon, summons are worthless; - Health increase makes it harder to kill a king before the next one pops up - Mildred is a retard and doesn't know that Quelaag spits fire, dies super quick - Both Solaire and Lautrec think they can tank the Gaping dragon, and die super quickly.
Beatrice does quite a bit of damage to the Four Kings in NG though. Not so useful in NG+ and beyond.
Unless you have a player who knows what they're doing to summon, don't bother with the Gaping Dragon summons. It's mostly avoiding its well broadcast attacks and NPCs can't do that for shit. Gargs they do amazingly, Solaire can handle Ornstein and Smough, the Centipede Demon is made significantly easier with Solaire tanking that shit, Tarkus is in a league of his own, even Mildred works for distracting Kellogs so you can do some damage. Overall they do help.
Man I have been killing those damn Balder knights in the Undead Church for quite a while now, I want that Balder sword, even with 9 humanity and 1 hour of slaying them, I still won't get it. I have like the whole balder set and different parts multiple times, but not that sword :v:

Once you get one and can run through Sens, you can get the Gold Serpent ring and they drop a lot more.
A lot of players said that it is pretty good. So I want to use it early on. Although I will grab Ciarans blade later on.
Gah, what the hell, I had more trouble with the capra demon than Quelaag and the gaping demon combined.
The dogs carry the Capra Demon. They stun you, and that's 99% of all failures on that boss.
