Now I collected like 32 shards, 5 balder helmets, 3 body armors and numerous gauntles. Sometimes they even drop like 2 pieces of the set with shards, but with no fucking sword :v: Beside I have now 13 humanity.

I don't suppose anybody around SL55~ has a spare bonewheel shield or two? I've been farming with 10 humanity and serpent ring with no luck. Usually I'd have an assload right now. :(

I had about 6 shards starting out, after I finally got the goddamn sword I had about 94.

to be honest I'm finding playing a dex build not very fun most things pound my anus in a couple of hits and I'm just not used to not killing things in single hits like I would with my str dude other than the side sword what is the best course of action to take?

I'm sitting on about 34 and the DPS I get is huge compared to my Str build. It's tricky early on because there's not much good but it gets easier and you start raping everything. Also get Power Within and a good Pyromancy flame, it rapes bosses.

I've honestly never been impressed with the side sword.

Finally completed this tasty build today: [URL]http://darksoulswiki.wikispaces.com/Blight+Assassin[/URL] ([I]Praise be to Swashy561[/I]) I drop in and soon after get a message: "Dude, I am new, this is my first playthrough, don't kill me" (paraphrased). So, I dropped a Dark Hand on the floor next to this thin wall and waited. This guy dressed nearly in full armour with a thief's hood strides up, clanking from one end of Blight Town to the other. Before he even began the scoop animation, I hop out and stab him in the bum. One hit kill. He then messages me saying "You cock, you lost me souls!", to which I reply "I am sorry. Please accept that Dark Hand as apology." He then said I had style and asked what 'skill' I used to kill him. I simply admitted I baited him with it and shanked him when he was distracted. I finished by saying one day he may be a master-baiter too.

Oh man, got a friend to gravelord me on my NG+ character. I wouldn't wish that upon anyone. I can see why they didn't make it affect NG people...

Made a rapier character. Losing the kick makes it tough to kill undead with shields.

Honestly, rapier alone suck so much. You either have to equip the Leo ring or use some kind of magic on your weapon to make them really effective. I also dislike the animation, I never know the full reach of the weapon. It also lacks quite a punch. Although Ricard's rapier is badass.
