The thing with enchanted/divine is that they're useless if your opponent is using Great Magic Barrier, unfortunately. I'd go with lightning, since you won't have to carry humanity, and there's normally less defense for the lightning to have to pass through against most people.
Thanks, both of you. Here's a thing.
Summoned Solaire and a player to help me with the gargoyle boss. The player rushes ahead and gets killed in under twenty seconds. Thankfully Solaire and I ripped shit up.
my first summon as a SunBro and the host didn't kill the channeler before Gaping Dragon. It was a massacre. Also how the fuck do I get to Pinwheel without dying FUCKING BLACK KNIGHT AND WHEEL SKELETONS FUUUUCK

Stay away from him, bait him into running into a wall like a dumbass, hit him a bunch. Avoid channeler spells. Just turn your volume up, you can hear them casting from a mile away. Take the blacksmith shortcut, run quickly through skelebros.

Is that the place where the wall breaks and there's a message reading 'treasure?'
You want to skip the entire level?
I had a love-hate relationship with the catacombs. It was annoying as shit, but it was a pretty crazy and unique experience, tomb of giants too, although that first bit is really fucking annoying
is there a point to upgrading artorias's shield seems to stay at 88 stability +2 so far [editline]7th November 2012[/editline]
I had a love-hate relationship with the catacombs. Upgrading it only increases the damage of the bash.
I don't think Darkwraithing is for me, the last 7 tries have ended with me being dragged 20 feet so I could be one-shot backstabbed. Being in Australia has its disadvantages. Maybe I should look into Gravelording...
You want to skip the entire level?
I don't have nearly enough VIT to pull that off :v:
I don't have nearly enough VIT to pull that off :v:
I've never had a character I couldn't do that on, it doesn't take as much vit as it looks like.
I don't have nearly enough VIT to pull that off :v:
I think fall damage is percentile, so you can do it with any amount of vitality.

Tomb of the giants on the other hand....FUCK OFF.
I didn't think the catacombs was that bad, aslong as you've got a divine weapon it's piss. Tomb of the giants on the other hand....FUCK OFF.
Sunlight maggot, decent weapon with range, a bit of common sense and it's not bad. I really can't stress the sunlight maggot enough though. The good light distance meant I could spot them before they aggroed and made them just tough rather than infuriating.
I really can't stress the sunlight maggot enough though.
You can pretty much walk through the area with the bone dogs without pulling any of them except the first one, Skeleton bowman and the black knight.
Yea I just rush through the area with my lantern until I get to Nito. It's alot easier.
You can either go with lightning or chaos. If you want you could go enchanted or divine if you have the int or fai.
Choas is slightly worse than regular fire, even at 10 humanity. Chaos exists because it's easier to get to the max level and with 10 humanity is just barely worse than regular fire.
any one got a sl 1-21? i need help on my ls 10 clock with smough and ornstein
Just reached Ornstein and Smough for the first time. No way I can keep popping humanity so I can summon Solaire (Summoning humans doesn't seem to work). I guess I'm going to have to do it the hard way.

I might be able to put up a summon sign in Anor Londo with my SL42.
Best bet that you have is to get the serpent ring and some humanity and kill some rats in the depths. Rats often drop humanity. Later on you can go to Oolacile, if you need more humanity.
I ran through ToG the other day without a sunlight maggot or lantern. it was brutal. I did it, though.
I don't have nearly enough VIT to pull that off :v:
I did that with a brand new character, you'll be fine.
Yeah, I forgot fall damage is percentage based, silly me. I'm gonna check out the blacksmith shortcut first though.
It's useful to know where he is anyway, just because he's the only way to get fire/chaos weapons.
I'm SL99 in darkroot forest. For the past 30 minutes I have been stuck in here with a permanent fog wall and a few invaders. Somebody send help.
Kill them, you pansy.
