Goddamn cunt fuck fighting O&S on NG+ is starting to piss me off. I killed Ornstein first in NG, so I'm trying to kill Smough first this time. I can't summon because I get invaded by the time I get to the boss door. I must have died at least 20 times by now.

Well, I tried playing DS last night extremely blasted. I started a SL1 character so I could invade the Burg, ended up somehow going up against a guy with the Moonlight Greatsword and the rest of Artorias' gear. Needless to say, I got my ass handed to me. Also, what's a better path for a Balder Side Sword? Lightning or Fire?

Some dude in Undead Burg keeps invading me and he's using a battleaxe. Like, the lowest tier, stock, find-it-on-undead-soldier axe. Except whenever he hits me it stuns me long enough for him to get another hit and essentially keep me stunned while killing me. I'm SL15 so obviously I have low health. Why is this possible.

Anyone else with DSFix 1.9 crashing on startup? I can't get the game to work unless I delete the DSFix files.

Is there ANY reason to use Heavy/Greater Heavy Soul Arrow? The cast time is atrocious. Can't really think of a situation where I'd want to use it.

They're great because they can do what you experienced (same poise break as greatswords, I think), but their downsides are that you really can't afford to miss and the range isn't the best. Stunlock on smaller, fast weapons is kind of weird so the only advice I can really offer is to try to swap weapons and roll away, if rolling won't work. Whenever I fight someone that's using an axe I always dodge their first swing and then hack away; most of the time I'll be able to stun them before they can get in a second swing. The few times I've used them, there were a handful of people that could reliably parry me (also notably while I was R1 spamming them while stunlocked), so they seem to be easier than most weapons to parry.

He caught on right before backstab and jumped off. I use dick weapons when people pull this shit. He's clearly a higher level; finally got him cornered though and tore him multiple assholes. Do you want me to use a sword hilt or something? Would that be fair? Besides, it's not like you can't roll out of the way from the scythe even if you can attack around shields with it. Is there any fix for the game being stuck at 15 fps for most of the game? The only area that is 30 fps for me is firelink shrine.

DSFix basically fixes everything, which can be found here: [url]http://darksouls.nexusmods.com/mods/19[/url] In the text file, there are some lines that say something along the lines of: Unlock FPS: 0 (change this to 1) Max FPS: 30 (change this to whatever you think your computer can handle)
