In 3 hours of gameplay I haven't fought one guy that wasn't hacking. It's just such a bore.

Having fun with Lord crown and coat being king of the forest and killing all the forest invaders and bam, hacker.
What the hell are you doing to get that many hackers? Managed to kill one of them only because I could just dodge his swings and widdled down his health. He had a couple thousand hp at around level 15.
Is it weird that the first fight is the most annoying to me? it's just so frustrating because you're on that tiny area and you have to try to move around him while you camera spazzes the fuck out. I can handle every other fight, but that Taurus demon, god damn

Usually now I just do a two handed r2 + forward attack off the ledge (Does more damage than the normal plunging attack) with gold pine resin then just spam normal attacks at him. Usually staggers him so he doesn't hit me.
My first Golem invasion netted me a ton of souls, and I never even saw the guy. [img_thumb]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/594734863512663010/E0B035B46C5C49FAC2404AA182025125CCB26903/[/img_thumb]

Only just getting around to playing the DLC. The Sanctuary Guardian was a fun fight, Chester is cool as fuck and Artorias just did his forward-flip killing me in one hit. From really did a good job on this.

I was going really well until he did the flippy attack. Not sure how I'll handle it next time because I'm not sure what he does before it but I'll manage. Also worth noting that side-flipping is more effective at dodging him than backflipping. You got something against Carim? Oswald's from there, Velka's probably related to it, Lautrec's not that bad of guy, even if Chester's from there he's still a cool dude and it's a shame I'm going to murder him shortly. [editline]11th November 2012[/editline] Has anyone mapped out the Royal Woods and layed them over the Darkroot garden map? It's evident that the Abyss has swallowed some parts of the land and seeing if those parts have returned or fallen away completely would be interesting.
Guys, when I'm running dsfix1.8 I'm having this sharp blur. [t]http://i.imgur.com/SWtJ2.jpg[/t] But when I'm using dsfix0.8 Blur is perfectly fine. What should I change in options to fix that? [t]http://i.imgur.com/dqPqF.jpg[/t] Oh wow, you can't tell the difference really from screenshots. But it's really well seen in game. I'm running the game on 1280x1024 resolution. Did anyone had familiar problem with dsfix1.8? Please help, I want to have those fancy huds too.
You got something against Carim? And I'm seeking true bros in Siegmeyer, Solaire Andre and Laurentius.
Maybe but Oswald's laugh is evil as fuck yet he's your best buddy, while Petrus seems decent yet he's a huge dick. Patches is the best though. He's like a reverse Lautrec, a bit of an enemy at first but becomes your best buddy later on. Plus he's got the slav squat, truest bro around.
So wait, can someone explain to me how to hack in items that I already don't have?
So wait, can someone explain to me how to hack in items that I already don't have?
very carefully and by replacing items you do have with the one you don't
very carefully and by replacing items you do have with the one you don't
That doesn't help
well, that's how it works
The new uprising of item editing is going to turn in to low level twinking. Whenever people are going to golem/SL1/lowlevelrun things up, people are just going to assume they twinked their stuff. So sad.
That doesn't help
Asking us how to hack a game publicly really isn't a good idea, anyway.
I mean I know how to change some values using cheat engine so if I find the value that is the amount of humanity I have and change it to 99, I will have 99 humanity in the game. But I'm interested in adding new items like weapons / armor.

You can change the quantity of something, drop it, and change the thing in your inventory, pick the old item and that's effectively adding an item, but you can't add new items without doing that. The way item editing works (without breaking GFWL) is replacing, not adding. As far as I know, it works on a script and multiple addresses rather than a single address anyway.
Well you can "add"(?) the Key to the Seal to your inventory if it doesn't drop.
God damn Artorias. It took me like 20 solid tries to kill him, and for the last five I just used my Smough's Hammer and abused the hell out of the rolling attack. At 440 damage a smash, it was entirely worth it to give up my grass crest shield and most of my armor. Can't fucking wait for NG+. And now I'm in the Catacombs trying to get a skull lantern so I can get the Silver Pendant and whatever other shit is behind those walls in Oolacile. I'm scared of the bonewheel pit, and I forgot to open Gough's door before I returned to firelink.
Well you can "add"(?) the Key to the Seal to your inventory if it doesn't drop.
You can replace an existing item. You cannot add items. You can only replace items. The answer is yes, however. You can get the Key to the Seal if you replace some other item
I love this game, and I've put more time into it than I would care to admit, but I feel about halfway through they fucked up with the pacing. After getting the lordvessel the game kinda takes a weird shift in direction. It kinda just opens up four areas and says "I dunno, just get those souls." I found it a bit awkward because it was never very clear which area would be the best to take on first. The catacombs were a pain in the ass because you had to use an awkward lantern in pitch black to get past a bunch of enemies to fight a tedious boss while getting bum rushed by skeletons. The old londo ruins were extremely well done until you fought the four kings. That boss strayed from almost every gameplay element the game was based around. Instead of cautiously fighting it and figuring out a stragety, you had to recklessly kill them as fast as possible or else you would be overpowered. The demon ruins were great, but I feel like it should have been saved for last considering it's atmosphere and difficulty. Killing a bunch of Taurus demons and finally defeating a huge fire demon just to realize you have a bigger tougher centipede boss to kill doesn't seem like the kind of area you would fight through halfway through the game The huge crystal filled library was just amazing until you had to go into that huge crystal cavern. By the time I even got to the cavern I had already used up most of my pyromancy to kill the golems around the cavern. Fighting golems up close with a spear on a thin invisible bridge just feels a bit cheap. I still love the game though, I just wish extra polish had gone into those areas of the game.

Hey, Zip or Saza or whoever else uses save editors and stuff...do you know the item ID for the Guardian Axe? I can't find it and I don't want to spend the time to hunt for one.
