I don't even think any of the weapons are really overused anymore. Except the great scythe. I swear, one in every three people on the PC version is using that, and all they do is unlock and do the sprint attack so they can get their ~MLG360~ dead angles.

Personally I really don't like the great scythe. The weapon itself is fine, it just feels weak when I use it. I prefer the normal halberd and the normal scythe over it.

My STR build is my Iron Tarkus cosplay, my Iron Golem cosplay, and my dragonoid all in one character. My normal equips consist of knight armor (except the helm is elite knight because fluted helms), MSGS, and balder shield. Best character I've ever made.

Doing a no shield run has been pretty easy so far. Those damn skeletons are going to be a bitch though.

holy shit when you hit enemies with the R2 the earth shakes. playing as tarkus

try the guardian axe not only does the earth shake but you destroy everyone in a ten mile radius with the 2h r2.

theoretically if you want to destroy poise the fastest your best bet is actually a reinforced club. does the same poise damage as greatswords, inexplicably. Not many weapons actually have knockdown, though. Most of them are STR weapons. Butcher knife 2h r2, demon machete 2h r2...anything that looks like it would literally flatten you probably knocks you down. BKGS and Stone Greataxe both knock UP, which is different.

Just bought this. I've played a friends but never continued because I thought the graveyard was the only way to go from Firelink Shrine :v: Either way, I have jumped off the deep end.

invaded some guy twice, second time he was flying around using combustion in onion armor. what the fuck. he gets hit with my +5 40 str black knight axe and it does 0 damage.

So, I'm fighting the Iron Golem with Tarkus' help, and the motherfucker comes in hits the golem SO HARD that it stumbles into that falling animation and drops right off the corner edge of the fuckin' platform to its death. His first hit on it and he killed the god damn thing. IRON FUCKING TARKUS.
