Either way, I prefer to find people who are willing to fight me head on. It's more interesting for me.
So do you prefer having your anus destroyed by a massive lightning sword that stuns you :v:?
Bought limited edition yesterday for like 10$ Had some real fun, Why is there no beards? :|
Bought limited edition yesterday for like 10$ Had some real fun, Why is there no beards? :|
Because you're not allowed to look like gwyn
Because you're not allowed to look like gwyn
No idea who he is tbh.
No idea who he is tbh.
I will gut you
Because you're not allowed to look like gwyn
Gwyn's beard alone probably holds more souls than the remains of his lord soul itself
No idea who he is tbh.
Remember the introduction video? It's the only guy with a beard
Bought limited edition yesterday for like 10$ Had some real fun, Why is there no beards? :|
That's a steal. I love this game in all it's entirety. [sp]But jesus h Sen's Fortress. Everything is a hardass. Unrelated to previous statement, but Ceaseless Discharge is one stone cold mother fucker.[/sp]
Bought limited edition yesterday for like 10$ Had some real fun, Why is there no beards? :|
you can make stubble, sort of. My guess is no beards because A) they wanted to distinguish Gwyn, the final boss, and B) beards would probably be vaguely difficult to add to the game. First of all, you could make females with beards, which would be weird. Hollow beards would be odd, and the physics of them would be unusual too. Especially with a minor knockback ability (golem axe r2, dkgb, spear, etc). you can act like a lightning snake but more lethal.

Everytime. When I made my character, I never looked up a good build. Please don't invade me.
scum
[editline]15th March 2012[/editline] Although it's fun to get invaded to see the invader acting like a hardass trying to look like he has a strategy then bash his shit with a lightning zweihander
I've always wondered this. How do apply lightning properties to weapons and such?

Now I invade it in full Tarkus gear. Tarkus may have helped you then. But he won't help you now. [editline]15th March 2012[/editline]
I will gut you
I've never played dark souls before yesterday, haven't played demons souls at all. Spare me!
I found out Shiva's bodyguard has the ring that lets you cartwheel instead of roll, and I just had to have it... so I killed him and took it. Then of course the Forest Covenant hated my guts. So I farmed the Forest Covenant enemies for souls and then bought an absolution. Now they like me again. I bought their trust with the souls of their dead comrades. There's something beautiful about that.
God fucking damn TotG. I can't solo Real Fuckin' Nito and I got invaded by the same Darkmoon twice and died by the second bonfire. Anyone wanna help a SL 60 PSN player out and let me summon them actually lol got real lucky and solo'd it

I've been meaning to try this out, any UKers know a good place to get it cheap or is the £20 on Amazon the cheapest I'll find?
ha, killed the iron golem by making him fall off the arena also, how far into anor londo is the blacksmith? i want to forge my quelaag's furysword already
he's inside the giant castle once you go up the large stairs he's pretty far into the level it's going to take a while
his AoE was a bitch :(
summoning iron knight tarkus makes that boss fight incredibly easy you can literally just let tarkus kill the iron golem for you he is the most godlike summonable phantom npc
ha, killed the iron golem by making him fall off the arena also, how far into anor londo is the blacksmith? i want to forge my quelaag's furysword already
He's like almost right before the boss fight. Not really a spoiler, but tagging it just in case... [sp]When you get to the large room with the two giant knights and one of those Silver Knights shooting arrows at you, you're close. You just have to go up the stairs with the Silver Knight and at the top will be another staircase that goes down to the blacksmith. Just make sure you unlock the gate outside of the blacksmith for easier access.[/sp]
I was talking about Nito and his poison AOE :v:
just use a divine weapon to kill all of his minions and the nito boss fight becomes a joke
I was talking about Nito and his poison AOE :v:
It's easy to put distance between him and you while he's charging up his poison attack.
It's easy to put distance between him and you while he's charging up his poison attack.
not when you're hemmed in by a wall and 2 giant skeletons, and my divine morningstar only did like 50 damage. I used Quelaag's fury with over 56 poise armor and mask of child and wrecked his face
I usually just ignored his burst entirely. Let it kill the skeletons for me, healed up, went to town.
I avoided the giant skeletons all together.
This. Just chill around at the beginning after falling and you'll only be attacked by the smaller ones. Also, posting here the experience I had, which I posted on Dark Souls general. Goddamn I love this game.
