About the Peculiar Doll.
[sp]If the "abomination that had no place in this world" described in its description is Priscilla, I must say I strongly disagree with the word "abomination."[/sp]
-Snipped this shit, that was just stupid.-
Halpcat should make a compilation of how many times I fall off cliffs.

[sp]She's the only half-dragon there is according to our knowledge and I guess she wasn't treated nicely because of it. It's a mystery why the doll was found in your old cell, though.[/sp]
I visited the Painted World of Artiamis, those phalanx blobs are freaking me out. Although it is a great place to level up. You can kill them quickly without to much effort. They give you tons of souls. Great for a bit of grinding, besides you can find many souls in the area.
Found over 80000 souls over there.
for a game with little to no lore on a lot of things i find the lore of dark souls to be highly interesting
idk why
Games that don't give lore up front makes it more interesting.
I fully agree, also the Lordran reminds me a lot of ICO.
Besides what is actually the purpose of the player, be the chosen undead to defeat the 4 kings? I do not fully grasp the main objective. By the way where the everlasting dragons "evil"?
Managed to get my copy, going to dedicate the whole tomorrow for this, aww yeah. I'm going to do a heavy build, and I've got a question.
Does the body type affect at all? I want to make feminine & slim guy for shits and giggles.
That feel when you successfully pull off your first invade.
Blech, finally got the Sunlight medals needed to get great lightning spear, so I decided to head to the forest to join the tree bitches covenant. Talked to the cat, accidentally hit "no" instead of "yes," and there was no way to change my answer or redo the dialogue, so I killed the fuckin' feline and went to kill Sif.
So I guess no dark woodgrain ring for this playthrough?
Just got this been playing for an hour.
I'm a dead guy

The sunbros are with you.
Oh my god I wish I knew the shortcut through Vally of Drakes to Blighttown on my first playthrough. I literally got to Quelaag and whooped her sexy spidery ass within 10 minutes of entering Blighttown this time around (NG+)
So much frustration was avoided this way. SO. MUCH.
Oh so to kill these dastardly flying banshee things I need to use this 'Transient Curse'...
I'm confused yet this is fun

Wait till you get to the bosses.

Wait, going through valley of the drakes was a short cut?
I did that my first playthrough anyway, whats the other way?
I do not understand this game, get killed by banshees - ok I'll go the other way, got some chests, fight two skeletons and get absolutely raped :(

Go up the hillside close to the bonfire to Undead Burg.
New Londo ruins are a good idea after Anor Londo, the ghosts should be piss easy after that.
New Londo Ruins scares the shit out of me, I had to put the game down for a few minutes, then I started up pumpkin hill and ran through it without stopping, way to make a creepy part of the game hilarious, song.

Follow the guide on the wiki, if you don't traverse the world in at least a semi-correct order, you'll get butt raped.
so I'm going through the catacombs
my question is, why do they call it the catacombs
"spikes" would be a much more fitting title
OKAY LIKE REALLY MAN INSTANT DEATH WITH 27 VITALITY GOD DAMN
reading about how awful some of you are at this makes me feel better about myself

Through the Depths.
Which I did my first playthrough.
Which took forever :v:
This game looks great, should I get Demon Souls first before playing this?
[editline]6th February 2012[/editline]
Shit, nevermind. Cant get this on PC :(
When I first arrived in the Depths I shat my pants, a fucking maze full of abonimations and shit.
I got lost in the Depths for about 2 days
Needless to say [sp]Ring of the Evil Eye (?)[/sp] was worth it for all those curses imo
sen's fortress is fuckin bustin my balls
i was fucking relieved to have made it outside
then i immediately get killed by a faggot giant who threw a rock at me
there's a hidden bonfire in sen's fortress btw and you can find a key at the bottom of the tower with the broken bridge, it opens an elevator in the main central tower

Once I had gotten past the first two scary snake guards it was a breeze for me, and then it was even easier when I found that bonfire.
cannot find that bonfire
always have to start off outside sen's fortress, at undead parish near the blacksmith
its getting tedious

All the way at the top; don't be afraid to take a leap of faith.
