I only got dark souls yesterday and I've put 10 hours in already, help me. Also that Capra Demon was a total pushover.
I have a Sorcerer Character, what skills should i Level up?
int for the spells and spell damage and att for hold more spells
I can play this with a generally good straight face. But just today I was going down to the Capra Demon and he killed me, went back to collect my souls and humanity (I had alot) and fucking died to the assasins. RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrr.
Soul Arrow makes me feel overpowered, out of range for the enemy trying to attack me with Melee and i one shot everything in the Undead Burg. (That is if it doesn't miss)
Fuck I forgot to get the other Asylum key when I went back to the Asylum for the Rusted Iron Ring :suicide:
Can you see tomb of giants from Lost Izalith or Ash Lake?
Ok, so I'm in the depths after killing the gaping dragon and I have gotten cursed. I managed to recover my souls, but I can't find a way out to get to the merchant who sells the anti-curse item. Please help?
Can you see tomb of giants from Lost Izalith or Ash Lake?
How, it's just a giant black hole
Sen's fortress is making me cry tears of blood. How can I get more slots for pyromancy?
Sen's fortress is making me cry tears of blood. How can I get more slots for pyromancy?
Upgrade your Attunement. After level 10, you get a slot every two levels I think. Obviously there's an upper limit on that, but I don't remember what it is offhand.

I can get back to the room where I fought the giant rat, but progress comes to a halt after that. So, if there's something like a map or a door that I'm missing I would really appreciate it.
Finally beat Dark Souls. I beat Gwyn on my first try, 1v1 and didn't look up any help on him. I was surprised how much damage Pyromancy did to him. I'll be sure not to use Pyromancer spells next character (starting right now, cause this game is addicting).

Usually once you beat the Gaping Dragon you just continue to Blight Town, and then once you're done there you can take an elevator back up to the surface. I've never had to backtrack all the way like that.

You should come across a door and this'll take you back to the cage room just after the narrow corridor with the slimes all over the ceiling. Carry on up to the lower part of the room full of the zombies and go to the wrecked hole in the wall, where the areas flooded. There's a big bunch of dogs there but it's easy to draw them out one at a time, after that you also come across the second butcher. After that you just need to find the ladder back up I think and it's straight on to the Female Undead Merchant from there. You'll want to fight the butcher trust me, his chest has an ember in it.
Can you see tomb of giants from Lost Izalith or Ash Lake?
Well I know you can see Ash Lake from the Tomb of Giants...
Well I know you can see Ash Lake from the Tomb of Giants...
Yeah that's why I asked, I was just there again recently and I doubt you can see it from Lost Izalith cause it's pitch dark. The part that is looking over at Ash Lake is kind of lit up though.
Today I found out the Black separation crystal doesn't work against invading phantoms :smith:
Having a bit of trouble here with weapon selection. I want a weapon that's good in PVE, and so far I've been using the gargoyle halberd and got it up to +6. Now I'am at Sen's Fortress, and I was wondering if there are any specific weapons I should be upgrading instead that would better help me in the long run.

You also get the Crystal Haliberd right after Sen's Fortress, and the boss isn't very hard. Both of those are better than the Gargoyle Haliberd, I believe.
Nevermind, I do get to keep it.
The Facebook wall has another huge crack in it. Forgot all about that for a few days.
Today I found out the Black separation crystal doesn't work against invading phantoms :smith:
Yeah i found that out aswell when i had someone with me and i tried to use the Crystal but it just said his name to 'kick' from the game, i then had blue shit thrown at me, and then burnt to death, i've faced facts now that i don't like being Human.
I remember doing that in Demon Souls. I was so much in denial that I did it over and over again while the phantom ran toward me to kill me.
So I loaded up my game to beat Seath today, but ended up doing that, and the 4 bosses in the hell looking place. :v: So now I'm pretty much finished - just need to kill Gwyn. What should I be doing before moving on to NG+, aside from killing all npcs?
buy everything

I am rocking it.
I killed Gwynevere and almost immediately after I was invaded by two players. One regular invader and someone from the Darkmoon covenant. The guy from Darkmoon helped to distract the regular invader. Eventually I was able to backstab the invader and get him stuck in a corner so I could just go at him with my spear. After that the Darkmoon invader and I started fighting. It was a close fight but I ended up just barely winning. One more hit and I would have died. [editline]1st April 2012[/editline] And then right after I get invaded by someone else, die and revive. I had a ring of sacrifice equipped so I was still in human form. As I'm going to a bonfire, I'm invaded by one Darkmoon phantom. The fight was going good and he was almost dead, until another one invaded and started attacking and I got a sword shoved through my back. :suicide:
So i played Dark Souls on the PS3 since i was at a friends house, and wanted to show him a few little tricks and maybe rekindle his courage for playing it (pardon the pun). Not a bad run in 2 and a half hours, taking a massive detour to get stuff you wouldnt normally get so early including the Claymore that would be normally guarded by the dragon and Elite Knight Armor. Im surprised i got so used to the PS3 pad when im so used to playing Dark Souls on the Xbox. Killed a burg invader too who was trying to Dark Hand me. Bugger didnt expect me to be carrying a claymore so early and i eventually killed him off, i must admit it was quite a close one, I panic summoned when i seen the entrance to the bonfire get fogged up, just before the guy invaded me with his Dark Hand attack. The only minor thing was that the guy i summoned, although he had that giant fucking demon's great hammer (i think anyway), he was running around like a french woman. So i had to deal with the invader by myself. Im surprised i got him killed to be honest.
