Right, if you go straight back to that big hallway with the few slimes and a couple of rats (the room that leads you to blight town) when you come back out from the gaping dragon turn left and keep on the very left side of the room. You should come across a door and this'll take you back to the cage room just after the narrow corridor with the slimes all over the ceiling. Carry on up to the lower part of the room full of the zombies and go to the wrecked hole in the wall, where the areas flooded. There's a big bunch of dogs there but it's easy to draw them out one at a time, after that you also come across the second butcher. After that you just need to find the ladder back up I think and it's straight on to the Female Undead Merchant from there.
You'll want to fight the butcher trust me, his chest has an ember in it.
If I could send hugs over the internet, you would be the first person to get one. Thank you so much.
If my only sins were killing Gwynevere and Petrus of Thorolund, will I be safe from Darkmoon invaders as long as I don't go to Anor Londo?
Any better gear for me going into sen's fortress right now? I'm using the Boar helm and the rest Full crimson set. Also knight shield and drake sword.

Nope, The darkmoon have a orb just like the darkwraiths to hunt down criminal scum just like you.

Right, gaping dragon time. Any tips for this first time player? I know dragons are weak to lightening and cutting off its tail is a good thing, but is there anything else i should know.

Be human so you can summon Solaire and just stand to the side getting in a few hits here and there while Solaire does most of the dirty work. I did that and was in almost no danger of dying.
Yeah, having Solaire is useful. He makes a good distraction. What I do is let him get the dragon's attention, then go in and either hit the tail or go to the side and start hitting the legs. When it flies into the air to turn around, roll away and let Solaire attack it until it focuses on him again. Be sure to watch out for its AOE attack.

Gaping Dragon isn't too difficult...
The only thing I would be very wary of is his weapon/armor corrosion attack.
He'll spew out this liquid stuff that has a very very large AoE that will quickly degrade your stuff. So try it avoid it at all costs.

Once you have the tail, take no more than a couple of potshots to the head. Any more than 2 hits won't leave you enough time to avoid the charge.
Fuck, I died on the stairwell to the abyss because I normally just jump off of the top platform, but I accidently twitched and went off at an angle and landed on another platform and died. :suicide:
I did that too and lost about 180,000 souls that was down with the 4 kings. Bad times.
Wow, I was so scared of the 4 kings at first I went to farm for like ever, then I went just now in with a Crest sheild that had 100% Phys. Block and 80% Magic Block and Ornsitens Amor minus the head, which I had the MotM, and I just raped them because I just tanked it like a man and they did little to no damage. Only high damaging move was there grab and absorb your power move that did like 1/6 my HP. I had the Great Lord Greatsword +5 so I just cut them into pieces.
Funny thing is the 4 Kings dropped enough humanity to give me 30 pieces so now I'm rank +2 Darkwraith.
Just beat Nito on my second try. It was a pretty easy fight. All I did was circle him and use pyromancy (Fire Orb and Great Fireball) whenever he swung his sword. Whenever I could I got in close and wailed on him with a +4 Quelaag's Furysword. I could have put up a better fight the first time around but I ended up backing into the 3 giant skeletons and getting massacred by them.
died in one hit from the gaping dragons tail swipe... goddamnit
Edit: twice in a row brilliant
Hit it 3-4 times then run the fuck away, you shouldn't die unless you're clumbsy as hell
Wow, I just invaded and it was 1 v 3 (me being 1), in my Idol the Lautrec Build (Armor of Favor, Lightning Shotel, and a crest shield even though he doesn't use a crest shield). Apparently none of them knew the shotel's R2 hit through shields and I just massacred both phantoms with R2 attacks and then the host got raped by me pulling out the G. Lord G. Sword and slapping his face all over the map.

Lop off its tail.
I invaded someguy with Stone Armor and after I bowed I gave him like 10 seconds to bow, he didn't after I did, so I gave him the Shotel Treatment as he thought he was safe behind his stone shield. Poor man.

why do you think he's been dying
If you keep dying while you're trying to cut off it's tail, stop trying to cut off it's tail. It's not worth continually dying.
I kept going for the tail and dying just because I knew there was a fuckhuge weapon at the end of it, if you can get something extra out of a boss you might as well.

It's really not that great. You'll replace it by the time you go to Sen's Fortress, probably, which is soon.
The Drake Sword really isn't that great. It's good for the first time around but when you set up a build you'll come to realize it doesn't really matter if you have the Drake Sword or not.

It's a handy weapon to have when you get it. It's pretty great for low levels but once you get past the pair of gargoyles you'll probably want to replace it with something else.
I can't kill the damn Capra Demon. I just can't. I go in and just keep blocking. Roll around. Try to take down those foul dogs. But I keep dying.

There's only two dogs, so I focused those two down first. After that, it's mostly just keeping your distance from Capra until he attacks, going behind him, and getting a few hits in. It's a lot of trial and error, but I found that once I got the start of the battle down (where you enter the fog and he jumps at you) and killed the dogs, the fight was pretty simple. Best of luck.

That's exactly what I've been trying, getting the dogs first. But fuck me this is hard.
Thanks for the advice.

It shouldn't be too difficult unless you're rolling a really squishy class. A good way to gain distance or catch a breath is to run up the stairs and stand on the broken ledge there until he comes up to get you. It can usually fetch you time to down an estus flask or two.
