Fireballs worked great on those dogs when I was doing the capra demon. Try fire bombs if you're not a pyromancer, should get them out of your face quick.
Just figured out why this is so hard, theres a chaneler buffing the dragon, how do i get to this fucker?
Never mind, got him with a bow :v
Oh wow that was so much easier without the buffing basterd, didnt get hit once by the dragon :v:

Wait, you didn't kill him on your way in? I always just stumbled upon him long before I fought the dragon.
The channeler is on the end of the sewer path with the holes that drop down. Just jump over the holes.

Channelers can buff enemies, although they usually just opt to attack you.
anyone near SL 70 on PSN want to help me with Lost Izalith, Nito, and Seath?
I would appreciate it.

I'm a Pyromancer, so I'll try your advice later.
Me and a friend have been doing co-op for every area ever since we both got the White Soapstone from Solaire. It's a blast. It's still kind of challenging, but easy enough to where you feel like a couple of badasses conquering the land. It's really nice that the White Soapstone has infinite uses once you've got it. I was afraid I'd have to find a new one every time we wanted to play together.

For the gargoyles we also had Knight Brolaire and some random we picked up along the way too.
Oh, and the Capra Demon? When you have two people, he is a chump ass bitch.
I didn't know you could literally play alongside each other I thought it was just invasions and the text on the floor, how does it progress for you if your constantly joining someone else's world? Does yours still stay the same?
Yours plays the same except you can't use bonfires. He can follow you till the area boss, and when you defeat it he returns to his world.

If you summon someone that is.

I summoned someone when I was in the depths and I got the exact same feeling. The enemies and even the Gaping Dragon just became bad jokes and we tore right through them. It was wonderful.
I was going around killing all NPCs and when I killed big boobs Anor Londo went dark.
It looks awesome.
Anor Londo is really one place in a video game I've enjoyed playing in purely because of how nice it looks - I really got to respect the designers for that.
Yes, Anor Londo indeed has some Amazing Chest.
I especially love the intro cutscene that takes you there.
I got this game today and I can't decide if I love it or hate it.
Love it cuz it's tons of fun, hate it cuz it's hard.
Rolling a Pyromancer, trying to get the Taurus Demon now so we'll see how that turns out when I get around to trying to beat him again

The thing that matters is you're having fun.

Do not lock on him and evade by rolling between his legs, besides climb the tower and do some drob attacks on his face. Some firebombs are also nifty.
Yeah a handy message someone left on the floor told me to try drop attacks. Thanks, mysterious stranger.

Basically, let's say, we were in Lower Undead Burg. I throw down my signs and he summons me at the beginning of the area. We work through it, and he uses his Estus Flasks to heal me. He's using a Cleric and I'm using a Knight. So I tank most things. Then, we reach the Capra Demon, and after we dominate him, I disappear back to my world and show up from where my sign was, back to my normal place. We both go and use our souls to level up, and then he throws down his sign in the same place, and we re-run the Lower Undead Burg so that I can be caught up. Rinse and repeat that process.
Right now we're probably going to go re-visit the Undead Asylum so that we can get the Rusted Iron Ring for the Sewers and Blight Town. We're both only Level 30, so it's a little higher level than us, but I think we can take it together.
Hmm, it appears the game isnt letting me have that egg disease so i can buy my Toxic Mist pryomancy. I am in the Chaos Servants (+2) and such, but so far... nothing, Even punched a few egg carryers to death.
That, or its taking one hell of a time.
Just beat this game for the first time, and was able to do it without summoning anyone.
Easily one of the best games I've ever played. Amazing combat, awesome boss fights, and stellar level design.
Now then... on to NG+
I'm periodically seeing ghosts running around, without touching a bloodstain that is.
Are they just other players in the area at the same time?
You occasionally see ghosts of other people playing. Psychologically it gives you a sense of not being alone.
Its the same with the camp fires. The "You are not alone" effect at the camp fires.
Annoyingly enough, the ghosts you normally see outside of camp fires are all naked, yet they werent in Demon Souls...
I haven't seen any naked people next to bonfires, not a lot anyway.
Outside of bonfires. I allways call them camp fires...
Hmm... for my next playthrough, should i be a Ninja, or Tarkus?
tarkus
