Get yourself summoned to gain a) delicious Humanity and b) experience with the boss fight.
I do have a friend with Dark Souls. I'll see if I can't get together with him somehow.
You know.... a Dark Souls rts would be amazing. You've already got factions you could use (gwyn's with blackknights/silverknighs, witches of izalith, etc.

Maybe a Dark Souls-like game in the scale of an RTS. Huge battles, thousands of soldiers and undead, with you as one dude in the middle of it all.

In Dynasty Warriors you play as an uber half-god like warlord which can single handly kill thousands of troops on his own without taking a scratch. Something in that style but with some really intense and hard combat mechanics like Dark Souls. Something where one single opponent can be a threat.
I see what your coming from, I quite like that idea. Maybe as one of the Black Knights of Gwyn till he goes insane.

i used the bb glitch to let people summon me for every single boss dressed as tarkus. tarkus v gargoyles. tarkus wins. tarkus v twinks. tarkus wins. tarkus v quelaag. tarkus wins. tarkus invader v tarkus npc summon. tarkus wins, summoner loses. Right the next boss(s) are Ornstein and Smough. Any tips good fellows?
Why didn't you just switch to offline mode? Or stay hollow? I don't get people who have a lot of issues with phantoms. If one kills you and it doesn't look like you can beat him, stop trying. Stay hollow or go to Offline Mode. The only real reason to be human is if you need to Kindle a Bonfire or summon a friend, and there are specific areas for that, so there's really no reason to be running around human all the time.
But why would you want to play without running the risk of invasions? They are a huge part of fun. Also I was casually PvPing in the Painted World, got pitted against someone a way higher level than me, and got 870k souls for killing them.
You better do Tarkus vs. Gwyn, boyo. Or Tarkus + Tarkus vs. Toejam & Earl, that could work too.
i beat the game as tarkus gwyn was hard without being able to parry but i did it anyway
Right the next boss(s) are Ornstein and Smough. Any tips good fellows?
Summon Solaire for the fight. Use lightning on Smough, fire on Ornstein. What I did was let Solaire distract Ornstein while I killed Smough, then for the fight with Ornstein I simply stayed underneath him and used my +4 Quelaag's Furysword or my pyromancy. If I had to heal I'd roll away and stand behind a pillar. Summoning another player might help, but I was able to do the fight with just Solaire my first time.
So, how is that wall doing?
So, how is that wall doing?
Wow we're at 11k likes.

How could you possibly think that's fun?

sounds like you got god-wrath'd

I could do a quick run to help ya.
I'm looking for people to play with on xbox and I don't see a dark souls facepunchers list anoyone up for some level 70/120 pvp?
I was out of having my computer and TV for the past 22 hours, so I decided to play some Monster Hunter. I was trying to play it with the Dark Souls control scheme in mind. [SP]I also forgot you don't have like, 500 frames of invincibility while dodging like you do in Dark Souls.[/SP]

I like 'em both, a lot, probably Dark Souls more for it's adventure factor. If there IS ONE thing I like about Monster Hunter over Dark Souls is that the weapon archetypes in Monster Hunter are more fun to use.
Are you on Xbox? I could do a quick run to help ya.
No, PS3. And I'm gonna get a friend to help me. Do I need to be human to summon him?
No, PS3. And I'm gonna get a friend to help me. Do I need to be human to summon him?
You need to be a human to summon people, but you don't have to be human to be summoned.
JUST FUCKING MAKE THE ANNOUNCEMENT ALREADY GET ON WITH IT FROMSOFT, COME ON!!!!
IGN have mentioned that Namco have a press release on the 12th so that will probably be the time we hear the announcement.
Speaking about invaders, Yesterday night when i was doing Sen's Fortress, i got to the bonfire at the top next to where the giant's throw cannon balls at you. Got to the Bonfire, was about to sit down when the bloody thing went out and some guy spawned. Because i was ill-prepared in general for a invader, i got my ass kiled in about two pyromancy hits. Only have 10 vitality and wearing the witches outfit, Seesh. One of these days i will make a character more suited for PVP... Edit - What about Dark Souls with Randomly Generated Dungeons?
I was getting my arse handed to me in the Undead Parish i think it is, the one with that black knight with the mace and shield, i couldn't kill him the first time using my Axe so i found a new weapon the um, i can't remember the name of it but it's like a spear so it's longer ranged, i'm having more fun now because i can actually kill shit, it's so good to do good.

It can be a real pain, but the key is to run circles around it. That's actually the key to beating most Dark Souls enemies. Find a blind spot that it has (usually its back) and then hit it there.
