lol nerd u suk Has he gotten invaded by low level darkwraiths yet?
he was playing in offline mode because he has no wifi at his house
that feeling when you let your best friend make a new character and play and then that friend does better than you even though he has never played a playstation in his life ;(
I feel even worse when they make a new save and are hopelessly lost and die around 8 times on the Asylum Demon. But then I remember it's Dark Souls and we all have a laugh.
I haven't personally followed her questline all the way yet, but from what I've read, once she appears for good at firelink after you kill petrus if you buy all of her miracles, once you go to the dukes archives she will be there. Hollow. Not sure if you considered that to be part of her questline, but from what I remember it's unavoidable unless you don't buy all of her miracles.
If you buy all her miracles while she's in the Undead Church, she'll move to the Duke's Archives as a hollow. However, if you don't buy all her miracles and visit a few areas, she'll be killed by Petrus. If you kill Petrus at some point, she'll stay in the Undead Church, until you buy all her miracles. That's around the time she started saying that she didn't really want to go to the bonfire because of everyone there.
Oh boy, I've encountered those two silver knights. You know the ones. Edit: Well, there goes 11 humanity. Fucking hell...
I went through the game several times before I actually went through Blighttown the right way. I had always killed the Gaping Dragon, headed back to Firelink and used the master key to take the shortcut to Blighttown. Few short ladders and a peaceful trek through the swamp and Quelaag's busty bod is all yours.
I started a new character and I'm level 30 and I can't seem to kill fucking anything in Blighttown.
I started a new character and I'm level 30 and I can't seem to kill fucking anything in Blighttown.
I'm in Blight Town at Level 39 and I'm doing pretty good. I think you might just need to grind a little. Also, has anyone else noticed that Ornstein's Armor Set has godly Curse Resist and Bleed Resist?
Dingy set also has really good curse resistance. [editline]10th April 2012[/editline] Also, I'm on a roll tonight invading Sen's Fortress. The more humanity I have, the stronger I get!
Oh man I didn't know Darkroot Gardens (part II) is so invasion heavy, fun as fuck with another guy helping me :v: [editline]10th April 2012[/editline] I killed this invader 3 times consequentively, I think he's butthurt now.
So I invade this guy and as I'm spawning in, he comes down the ladder right next to me. I drop down to a the bottom ledge and so does he. I back up and we both bow for a fight. The fight didn't last long because we both ended up falling off the edge and landing right behind a titanite demon. The demon didn't notice the host, so I ended up pointing upward to tell him to get out of here (because I'm nice like that). He ran to the ladder and I followed. We both went up to the very top where the giant was that opens the gate. The host had healed when we fell behind the demon, so I was left with half of my HP. We started our fight, again, and he had one hit left. He managed to gain just enough distance away from me to use an estus flask. I thought that was really cheap of him to do that, since I basically let him go unharmed when we fell down. He ended up switching to a giant sword and killing me with it.

Anyone knows what this means?
Anyone knows what this means?
My Japanese is a little rusty, but I'm pretty sure that says "nani." Don't quite remember what that means, but I think it's part of sentence structure, not something interesting like a noun.
What
http://japanese.about.com/od/simplejapanesephrases/p/sjp1-2.htm That's what it means.
Yeah, I was just told it translates to "What" [editline]10th April 2012[/editline] I invaded a guy and when I caught up to him, he took that little elevator (the one that if you stay on too long pushes you into some spikes) so I ran the other way and went up to the boulder changing device. I was right behind him and I managed to get a backstab on him. The backstab didn't kill him but it pushed him toward the swinging blades, which knocked him off as he was getting him. I guess he didn't realize I was behind him.
Excuse my ignorance, but I've only ever seen my friend play Dark souls, what's the point of invading people's worlds apart from being a dick.
Excuse my ignorance, but I've only ever seen my friend play Dark souls, what's the point of invading people's worlds apart from being a dick.
Well... Sometimes people are looking for a fair fight when invading. Other times they'll do whatever they can to kill the host and anyone else that happens to be around. But rarely, depending on the situation, the invader can also help the host by opening passage ways or shortcuts and just run past all the NPCs because they won't attack the invader.

So yeah the only point to invading is to be a dick.
I got invaded by some guy, he never appeared so I just kept my guard up while going through the Garden until I get invaded AGAIN. I'm like oh fuck oh fuck, I see the second guy come up a bit of distance away next to this ghost (I thought he was the Knight ghost), I'm thinking "Fuck you you aren't fooling me", and I just kept circlestrafing around him trying to look for an opening. This all ends when he points to the phantom, and I realised he was the first invader, just afc (Away from controller?), and he backs away from him, letting me backstab and kill him off. Then we both bowed and duelled like men. (I ended up winning) First bro invader I've witnessed.
I've watched enough anime to know that "nani" means "what" :v: Also I've almost got all the achivements now, the only one I'm missing is knight's honor. [editline]10th April 2012[/editline] FUCK I was grinding for the channeler's trident and decided to make a mad rush for it and not kill the crystal dredgelings, killed the channeler and then died because the dredgelings killed me. Then I notice that the channeler had loot on him, and then can't drop anything else than the fucking tridents.

on the topic of invaders, not that long ago I made a new character and sat myself on the sunlight altar bonfire for a couple of minutes as I went downstairs or something, was also in human form then when I come back I notice I'm not sitting at the bonfire anymore and suddenly some creepy dark spirit is draining my humanity like a madman, then when I try to attack him he just runs out on the bridge, waves and returns to his world

I don't get that much if I'm being invaded.
I haven't even killed the first Taurus Demon yet but I'm killing Sif, I find this amusing.
What level are you pvping at in Sens? Also invading is fun, I fight fair and I enjoy fair Dark Souls pvp fights. I don't get that much if I'm being invaded.
I'm about level 36.
I haven't even killed the first Taurus Demon yet but I'm killing Sif, I find this amusing.
Do you mean total or just this playthrough? I'd think Drake Valley would be tougher than the taurus demon.
Do you mean total or just this playthrough? I'd think Drake Valley would be tougher than the taurus demon.
I mean that I killed Sif before going to Taurus Demon. I tried to start the Taurus fight backwards (as in entering from where you would usually exit), turns out it doesn't work. I'm doing this on NG++ by the way, and on my NG+ run I killed Four Kings before Taurus :v:
I only just realised this, but the Daughters of Chaos actually sounds like some sort of all-female symphonic metal band. Imagine Nightwish, only all the band members are girls, and you'd be on the right track. Daughters of Chaos: Live at the Duke's Archives. Tickets are on sale in Anor Londo.
