So, seriously, who the hell is Sen? There's never any mention of him/her in the game at all.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amartya_Sen Really don't see why this guy needed his own fortress...
To protect all that girth. In other news, I'm in Lost Izalith now. Any tips before I plunge in head first, humanity and all?

Prepare to die, over and over again.
So, seriously, who the hell is Sen? There's never any mention of him/her in the game at all.
No one really knows for sure, but apparently popular speculation is that Sen is actually Senhime, granddaughter of the Japanese unifier Tokugawa Ieyasu. I guess there's supposed to be some Japanese legend involving Senhime and a fortress, but I can't really find anything. (Except that she lived in Himeji Castle, a very well-fortified castle that was constructed largely during her stay there.) So really I have no idea. I just recall hearing that somewhere and it makes about as much sense as any other guess.
Just killed Sif with nothing but a bow. He is a pretty easy, which kind of disappoints me. He seemed like a cool boss in the trailers.
I made a little survey for Dark Souls http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MCVCLWP Just wanted to know some of your guys' thoughts. Edit: I changed one of the questions
Incredibly happy to see this coming to PC, definite will buy as soon as it's out. About GFWL, I dislike it a great deal, not so much that I will avoid the game however. I do know several people who can't use GFWL at all, I have issues with it pretty often, mostly with authentication and log ins, but I have so far been able to work through them, and will try with this as well. But still, GFWL needs to be phased out, PC doesn't need a shitty service like Xbox live, XBL sucks for a PC, we have far better. Anyway, can't wait to play, and hope the GFWL issue gets sorted out for people that have more serious issues than me.

Yeah, me too.
Will you post the results later? I'd be interested in seeing what people answer.
I will keep all the results to myself muahahaha I can post results, yeah. The only problem is that you have to have a premium account to actually download your charts. You can view your charts with a giant SAMPLE text over the chart though. The Moonlight Butterfly vote was me. The song was so pretty and I got to team up with my girl Witch Beatrice!
My vote was for Crossbreed Priscela. I'm a sucker for melancholy. . .
So should I go to blighttown, new Londo ruins or try tackling the dragon on the bridge? I'm lvl 26 or so with the drake sword, wanderer outfit and a black/dark knight shield.
I chose biggie smalls for favorite boss.

Is that the place with the grave-stones and skeletons? I haven't been there since I went there at the beginning and died a horrible painful death... Therapeutic revenge time?
Is that the place with the grave-stones and skeletons? I haven't been there since I went there at the beginning and died a horrible painful death... Therapeutic revenge time?
Catacombs is the place with the skeletons The way to New Londo is under Firelink Shrine. Darkroot Garden is neat Andre, past the Undead Church.
ah is that the place with the weird rock things and the hydra?
That's Darkroot basin, just clear the gardens for now. And you DON'T want to go to New Londo yet.
I just fought my way through a bunch of ghosts in new londo getting to where I died, grabbed my 10k souls and ran for it. The ghosts themselves aren't hard to fight but fuck am I going further into it :v: I have no idea how to get to the darkroot gardens

Nonono Darkroot Gardens part I is just past that headless demon under the blacksmith in Undead Parish. Run past the bitch :v:
I wonder if i should pass this servey about in Gamespot/Gamefaq's...
Nonono Darkroot Gardens part I is just past that headless demon under the blacksmith in Undead Parish. Run past the bitch :v:
Right, forgot about the butterfly.
Nonono Darkroot Gardens part I is just past that headless demon under the blacksmith in Undead Parish. Run past the bitch :v:
I haven't gotten into the undead parish yet there's a rather big dragon in the way
been playing around with a new character called Mr Blobby, Smough's armor, dragon bone fist (only +3 atm) and a dark hand for shield and parry just so much fun be be a really fat guy punching the hell out of people
I haven't gotten into the undead parish yet there's a rather big dragon in the way
Half-way across the bridge is some stairs on the right side. The dragon shouldn't do anything until you get that far. Just keep your shield raised and run straight for it.
Usually (well at least it's always worked for me) you can get to the stairs without even getting burned if you just walk slowly.
I went down there, killed a big boar thing and there was nowhere to go from that area, a locked gate and such.. Did I miss something there? (Rather terrible at this game if you can't tell)
