I'm enjoying being in a skype call with my friend while he walks through the catacombs for his first time. I'm such an ass I'm not even gonna warn him about the wheel skeletons, this is gonna be so great. The bed of chaos wasn't that hard. I was using the Wander's beginning armor with a 100 physical shield and I only died like 3 times maybe. After getting the two sides just run half way down the middle, block, then run the rest onto the vine.

Bed of chaos was pretty easy, Stand back and use a bow shooting both left and right sides of the tumor's or whatever they are. Then run down the middle.

Just got invaded for the first time by some dude in spiky as fuck armour, hurt to touch him, he died really easy though, mainly because he sucked at rolling and timing his attacks. also, I just got one hit by that big swamp monster thing, seriously what the fuck is that? spikes for a stomach or some shit, I also avoided fighting the mother of all rats, do I need to fight it? Now I'm cursed, what do i do about this?

Now I'm cursed, what do i do about this?[/QUOTE] The thorn guy is an NPC invader that invades randomly while you are human in the depths. The giant rat is also an option mini-boss. And I'm guessing the swamp monster is the Gaping Dragon. Just step back and keep dodging and running away from its attacks until it bodyslams the ground and charges you. Then just attack its legs and rinse and repeat.

You need a purging stone to remove curses, The guy that spawns in the church after you defeat the bell gargoyles sell them for 3000 each, the undead trader by the grate/sewer place sells [i]one[/i] for 6000.

I also noticed that you can shoot those both fire strings of the Bed of Chaos with a simple bow.

Actually you need 3 arrows to kill the Bed of Chaos. :v: If you do it right.

Bed of Chaos was the only boss to which I died like 20 times. Almost stopped playing again because I raged so hard every time I had to walk there again, just to be burned, slapped then swiped down. I was so GODDAMN happy when I made that jump to the root and just rolled in and killed that cunt.

Anyone know the cheapest place to get the limited edition in the UK? I can't find anywhere. Would there be any disadvantages to buying the limited edition used? (E.g are there single use codes)

I don't quite understand why people have such a hard time with Bed of Chaos. It may not seem like one, but you have to treat it like every other boss and be patient. Learn the moves and then time accordingly. I only died a few times on it, it's one of the easiest bosses in the game.

It is a very easy boss, but those sweeps with her arms are a pain in the ass. Especially if you want to jump at that root in the middle. I tried blocking, timing and evading. It was just a tad frustrating.

The movement for it has caught Namco Baindai's attention and there's a petition that was started about a month ago that already has over 85,000 signatures. The two games don't have much story to speak of, but have a lot of gameplay similarities. I think using a name like Demon's Souls 2 would imply the story is a continuation of the first game, but who understood the story anyway.

If they were to make a direct sequel, I'd rather it be Dark Souls, as it's story seems a lot more alluring and interesting. Or they could just make a new souls game.

ok, so im about to Enter "Sen's Fortress" im level 33, got my Elite Knight Armour on, a Halberd +2 and drake sword +2, ive been into the fortress before killed those first 2 snake guard guys (took a while) then i go into the big room with the swinging axe's and the snake guard on the bridge ripped me a new asshole! anyone have any tips on how to handle this part of the game? do i need to upgrade a weapon more or something?

But sometimes you can also sprint and then jump at the right moment. Although that can be quite difficult.
