Better product > Broken promise

Long production time ≠ Good product
MOTHA FUCKA, Oh well. watcha gonna do. It's still gonna be a great mod when it comes out
not surprised really.
oh well.

I would prefer them breaking a promise and extending the time than rushing it to meet a deadline and include a few more bugs. Yes, they shouldn't have made a promise, but these guys don't earn out of it. Shit happens.
it's suffering from duke nukem: forever syndrome.
It's been six years in the making, they've put a lot of time, effort, and money into the mod, and they want to
extend their deadline by another few months, perhaps a year. I find that perfectly acceptable. Even VALVe,
with their ubiquitous delays, eventually release fantastic and often groundbreaking products. I would much
rather have the BM:S team release a finished, polished product rather than a hurried, bug-ridden lump of
disappointment.

Valves delays products and then launches them unfinished all the time. Day of Defeat: Source had something like 4 maps at launch, and Left 4 Dead was missing half of the versus campaigns.

At least with Valve we know we are going to get EP3, some mod team may just decide they don't want to do it anymore and quit, either giving out what they have done or delete it and move on.
Sadly i can see how mod teams Fall, I mean if one person goes silent...No problem Dev team hires another person though if half the team goes silent then your mod is near fucked
wow big surprise, it was pretty obvious it wasnt gonna make the deadline
:gonk: Fuuccckkkkk. I was really looking forward to playing this. Like the better part of a decade looking forward to.
Its going to be worth the wait.
Man they must be busting their asses on this game.
