can someone assist me with this, i'm having a real ball with my companions, whenever we enter battle they pull knives instead of the guns and ammo i've given them based on the weapon profencies they say they have... how do i fix this? i've even stolen their knives so they would use their guns.... now they just play Muhammed Ali... it's fallout 1 BTW.

Did you equip the guns on them or did you just give it to them?
Is this game worth the money? Cause I was thinking about getting it, cause I want a change in my gaming. All my games except COD 5, which I really did enjoy until I got to level 65, are made by Valve. And I was looking for a long game, with alot of replay value.
Well, like I was saying, I'm looking for something new.
You'll like this if you have an ounce of patience and don't mind turn based combat.
back to vault 13
not what I meant, I mean after you talk to the overseer and he tells you to destroy the super mutant source
mariposa.
"ghoul was hit for 42 in the knee smashing it into the next town" WTF!? lol damage reports is worth the whole price of the game...
[editline]01:55AM[/editline]
"ghoul was hit in the right leg for 30 sending him to the ground bouncing like a bowling pin in a league game"
mariposa.
you sure I shouldn't visit the boneyard or the glow before going there?
not what I meant, I mean after you talk to the overseer and he tells you to destroy the super mutant source
As I said, Fallout doesn't wipe your ass for you and kiss you better, ask around and investigate
As I said, Fallout doesn't wipe your ass for you and kiss you better, ask around and investigate
ok i forgot asking for help was a forbidden thing
you sure I shouldn't visit the boneyard or the glow before going there?
Here's a hint for when you visit the glow: The Glow is called the glow for a reason. It is the most radioactive area in the game, so before you go there, stop 1 tile away from it and pop 2 rad-x (each one gives 50 rad resistance) before visiting the actual area. You will also need a rope to get inside because it is a massive crater. In Fallout 1 you get no warning if you have got radiation poisoning, the only way you can tell is that your stats are dropping and if you have a geiger counter you can check how many rads you've absorbed. At a certain number of rads, you will be irreversibly damaged and will inevitably die no matter how much rad-away you use. Be enough of an idiot and you can actually start glowing, although not for long.
alright I'll get as much as I can from that one guy in the hub
alright I'll get as much as I can from that one guy in the hub
It lasts for quite a while, I think I survived on 3, but then again I didn't visit much of the glow. There's a robot you can play chess with and a lot of other cool stuff but you need to be aware if your rad-x is going to wear off soon. I just went in, got what i wanted and left.

what? every time I play Fallout 3 and I hear Three Dog I want to put a fucking bullet in his head.
doing a new Fallout 2 play though, my main character is going to be The Wasteland Whore, which is always fun from what I hear.

I'm pretty sure there is a village crisis you need to solve instead
fuck the village, time to be a porn star!
fuck the village, time to be a porn star!
I went that way with one of my characters as soon as I reached New Reno: whoring, binge drinking, casual drug use and going out for days on end shooting helpful explorers in the legs and groin. You know, the stuff that helps you forget your obligations as Chosen One to save your village. That was until a certain event smacked the douchebag out of my character.

If you really want to put a fucking bullet in his head, just do it.
Also my next character will have 10 luck and 1 intelligence. I doubt he'll last long.

Give him Jinxed and watch em die of a heart disease.

Character miscounted, critically.
He is hit for 531 HP in the head. Character died.
That scar will be a great conversation starter at a party.
so, i've got myself into a rather Flanders situation. i'm attempting to avoid the Master battle by preparing to nuke the place, only problem is i cannot aquire electronic lockpick to get access to Mariposa, i cannot defeat foes at the top of the Cathedral, i can't lockpick the doors the thieves guild and i can't get escorted to mariposa since i whacked the mutants, are there any other ways to get there? i'm level 11

How do you need an electronical lockpick? I just killed the guards, took the code, opened the door, and blasted everyone to bits.

If you're lucky your SPECIAL stats may raise all to 10. Mutation is fun.
