i went to refill the cauldron, it's now cooking at the forge in the mines.

Your stuff [b]will[/b] be nicked, There will [b]never[/b] be enough food and land is available on a first-come, first-served basis. In order not to be annoyed by Facepunch towns, you can do the following: - Always keep your stuff on you, never leave stuff lying around that you don't want to lose - Make sure you know how to make food, don't rely purely on others to provide - Don't spend ages terraforming a piece of land if you can't claim it with a plan or somesuch. Someone else will take it when you go offline.

Or does it require a somewhat big deal of resources?

It's fine. Whatever you pick you end up become one kingdom (Freedom) on Golden Valley.

Make a large chest and a padlock, and then you basically have your own storage that takes far less time to make than a house. It's just that people carelessly leave their stuff lying around, and then get angry when someone else saw their pile of tools and took their hammer, or whatever. Don't leave stuff lying around that you want to keep.

Look at what everyone else is doing, and then basically just do what you think is fun. Most people want to make a house, or a shed. Others like to mine, or chop trees or gather food. It's basically a lot like what life would be if everyone suddenly decided to go live in the woods.

theres 2 people (croix and cleverballs) building a house at the seashore, just follow the mountain line, he has tons of fish. Seeing the food drama i thought some of you might be interested.
