I think that as a community we need somewhere to direct our efforts, something we can all look at as a whole. The attack on Karys united alot of us, we actually had fun. Suggestion of new community projects (I'm talking about leaving a mark behind, not a food project or something) would certainly have the same effect.

Once we all start to hit the 24 hour mark things will go insane if we don't have enough food.

watch the video in the op, it's really helpful. Life/day cycles last like 1-1.5 hours so you can also log back in in a while during the day, it might be easier to find the camp that way.
I just did some maths. It is roughly 1900 minutes left of mining until the underground village is carved out.

I have, to a point. I lost the path though and can't find it.
Thats 1900 minutes for just the simple part. Then we have to mine straight up, build an underground lake, and make the underground area two dimensional.

Cleverballs is a huge twat, someone made a bunch of 3kg casseroles and left them in a barrel for people to eat and he just rushed over and took them all.
1900 minutes includes a 6x10 tile area.
I've only eaten one cooked food ever, a casserole two days ago. I've been barely surviving on foraged plants which I have to eat raw because I don't know how to cook, and if I give them to someone else to cook, I just know that they'll end up in some other stomach (either the cook or someone stealing the meal) and I won't get my food. So I eat em raw.

If you have less than 24 hours of gameplay, go to spawn area and get food from npcs
then just go to wiki for recipes
also it's good waiting near public forges and stealing everything you can

Foraged plants give you like 2% hunger, it's muuchh better to just learn to cook.
