Sort of, but by starting again you can change race, so you're getting different race specialisations, different star sign so you get different perks and a different class so you get different bonuses. If you're, say, a Nord Warrior being a mage is a lot harder than if you go a High Elf with a magic class.

Isn't the HL series, you know, sort of... linear? And, to Oblivion suggesters, I mean things with different ways to go through things. Not just things like class or whatever, I mean different story paths.
