Money makes the world go round ;). Also we're pretty generous with daily pay, so money shouldn't be too much of an issue after you've played for a little while -- like any MMO the first NPCs you attack aren't flush with spectacular items... at least the first NPC isn't a rat in Hack Wars!

In Slavehack and Uplink, actions would leave logs on your machine and the machine(s) you were connected to.

I have been playing for a few days, and I'm at lvl 47 with $30k...yay hacking random newbies and replacing their bank scripts, and stealing their monies. I log on and have $5-$6k every time.

Yeah, I am in no way complaining about the items I receive. But I don't think there should be a cost to scan an IP, just a large up-front cost for the software.
Also, how do you replace the bank script to get daily money bonus, and how do you undo it if it is done to you?
