Once you get to level 15 in attacking, you can make some very awesome attack scripts that replace their banking scripts with ones that give you money, set their payroll address to yours, and get all of their petty money in one swoop.

Did you try hitting generate random IP, alternativey, here are some examples of valid IPs:
120.120.1.120
127.110.8.112
122.122.2.114

Owned the scripting language - haxxored it - made a script which generated money for me out of nowhere.
Decided I was too 1337.
(only using the in game scripting language of course)
Of course it ended up being fixed, but it was fun while it lasted :D
Anyone thinking of trying this game, I would recommend it, it's pretty fun.

Hello, thought I'd post some interesting news about HackWars.
HackWars, the ridiculously complex/immersing Hacking MMORPG has gone OpenSource.
If you tried this game out months ago, enjoyed it, but wished you could tweak around with the internals a bit more... Come back and give it a shot ;)

The only retarded thing in this game is the programming language wich costs money to compile programs with, and that it looks like OSX, and OSX's interface sucks donkey dick else, i think its fine enough.. seen better hacking games though.

We've been doing insane development this month, I'm hoping we might be getting a bit above the 7/10 range ;) We just added, 1000 new NPCs, 35 networks, like 30 quests/missions and growing -- oh, and this weekend I just rolled out aggro NPCs.
A lot of this sweet new content is thanks to us opening up development to the players of the game :)
