The remake made me shit my pants.
The T-virus and G-virus > that Spanish parasite shit.
This. Times a million. The T virus was so much better than the Las Plagas. I much prefer zombies to 'not zombies'.
That first zombie scene always freaked me out even in the Very first one.
Oven Man. :tinfoil: [editline]03:23AM[/editline] Resident Evil 4 took out some of the horror, but it was definitely a revolutionary game, both in gameplay and in graphics.

I wasn't sure if it was just because I got older.. First time I played Code Veronica X I was about 11 and scared shitless through a lot of it. Though I didn't find Resident Evil 4 scary, more of a "will you just die!?!" most of the time. I hated when the Parasite's popped out of their heads and started waving around and shit.
RE4 owned, defending that house was awesome.
resident evil 4 wii edition
I found this post hilarious
RE4 owned, defending that house was awesome.
First time I did that I got hell confused... I kept shooting Luis (Some dumbass walkthrough told me he was invincible, I was just shooting as much as I could with the TMP) and then it went to a cutscene and Luis whipped out his gun after 5 seconds talking shot me in the chest.. I thought Leon would get back and say something about body armor and Luis betraying him was part of the plot... But yeah :\ I just died. But yeah that was a pretty badass moment!
resident evil 4 was the scariest and the funnest for me. killing the chainsaw guys was so much fun :D
RE2 all the way for it's sheer amount of awesome and horror. I actually preferred RE5 over 4, because it had co-op. Both of the game had no horror (IMO) and RE4's last boss was a fucking pushover. RE5 atleast had a challenging boss (not much, but it was fun). Like someone mentioned: T and G > Plagas.
Depends RE2 for atmosphere and all and as stated often zombies > plagas On the other hand I had the most fun with RE5 but I'll go for 2
Resident Evil 2.
REmake
The remake is the best game I have ever played.
I found this post hilarious
I find this post hilarious because of the uninformed passive aggression. RE4 Wii Edition is the best version of RE4. It includes all the content of the PS2 version and the visuals and audio of the Gamecube version with awesome controlls.
I'd love RE4/5 style movement and zombies.
Resident Evil 2
4 obviously. But I did enjoy all of them :)
Only played RE5. Co-op is the shit.
I'd love RE4/5 style movement and zombies.
"They're not human! They must be zombies!"
RE2, hands down.
Why didn't you include Resident evil Outbreak #1 and #2 Those were my favourite
I picked RE4, RE5 was cool but I hate how the slogan is "Fear You Won't Forget" when it wasn't any scarier than Left 4 Dead.
"They're not human! They must be zombies!"
What is that supposed to mean
They're not Zombies. [editline]03:54PM[/editline] And the game makes it VERY clear they are not.
They're not Zombies. [editline]03:54PM[/editline] And the game makes it VERY clear they are not.
Who are not? T virus ones or plagas? I know plagas ones are not, thus they suck ass. T virus ones seem to be quite zombies to me.
Oh, I'm very sorry. Thought you said "I love RE4/5's moving and Zombies"
RE2 and 3. RE4 was fantastic, but it wasn't really Resident Evil.
Oh, I'm very sorry. Thought you said "I love RE4/5's moving and Zombies"
Yeah sorry about that. I love re4's 3rd person gameplay but classic zombies. And oh god, when these plagas people start using firearms, it gets even worse. I hate when same series suddenly changes genre from horror to shooter action
I would have to say RE3 Nemesis. RE4 was tons of fun, especially with the Chicago Typewriter and the old school suit, but I remember having loads of fun with Nemesis when I was young.
