What is your most epic/awesome in-game moment you have ever experienced?

When I got an Xbox 360 and a HDTV and played Call of Duty 2 for the first time.
:iia:
Assassins Creed 2, exact same thing as RayvenQ,
Also playing Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 with my brother, I was hiding behind a traincar, terrorist was running down the stairs a fair distance away, I blindfired once with the PSG-1, it hit him in the face and he tumbled down the rest of the stairs.
Men of War, 3v3 game, two of my friends (U.S.) against three Russian dudes (Germany).
We beat their asses, hard.
Bad company, My team was a bunch of fucktards against the enemy team full of clanners working together. We were getting anally raped until I thought... Fuck this shit. Took a tank and managed to kill the enemy team over at least 5 times, took down 7 of their tanks both light and heavy and turned the tide of the game pretty much singlehandedly.
I don't know how I managed it, I mean maybe they were just so laid back from kicking our asses that they couldn't get back into really playing, so driving them back was easy.
The skill to dodge rockets and Laser designators at the same time is very, very useful.
We still lost because one tank can't really capture 5 flags alone.
Needless to say I felt awesome after that.
Whn I maried the first time In Harvest Moon:SNES
Seriously, I was so happy I made it! Had the biggest house and everything built up. Gave me a fuzzy feeling.
Far-cry 2, i had to destroy a vehicle, so what i did is i saved the game and as soon as i got out of the safe house, suprisingly the vehicle was right out side and just turning around a corner a little distance away....
so what i did is i got my rpg (since the rpg rocket eventually loses thrust and falls) fired it straight over the corner and made the rpg land right on target :D (best FC2 moment)

Fixed.
Resident Evil 1, Tyrant.
First time playing Resident Evil I was absoloute shite at it throughout the whole game, got to tyrant then I reckoned there was no way of beating him but on my first try I beat him.
with a singleplayer game, any moment can be epic because that's how the designers made it. for true, out-of-the-blue epicness, Multiplayer's where it's at.
unfortunately, Halo 3 is that only multiplayer game I've ever played. but I DID have some epic moments. many times I had turned the tide of a battle with a banshee and frantic "dodge the fucking missile!" maneuvers, but the most epic thing I remember was one time, in Big Team Deathmatch I believe, almost everybody on my team but me and one other guy quit, so we had to work together to keep ourselves from being kicked in the ass. we almost won. ALMOST.
A story from ArmA 1:
I made this huge battle in the editor, OPFOR was trying to take a city, and there was some BLUFOR parachuting in. A few Humvees and M1A1s coming from a small base I had set up halfway across the island. I also had about 4 or 5 Blackhawks trying to insert troops into different parts of the city, I was in one of those Blackhawks. We got shot down by an AA Specialist, but we all bailed out. We made our way into the city and met up with the other squad, while that was happening, a few Cobras were sweeping the city, it looked beautiful. We took out quite a few OPFOR and got ourselves a UAZ with a machine gun, after that we met up with a few Humvees, and decided to do one last sweep of the city. We made a turn and out popped a T-72, it fired on us, took out a Humvee so we made a hasty retreat to the other side of the city, taking out any OPFOR in our way. After that, we made our way back to base, to refuel and rearm. It was hella awesome
Cat-Shotgun from Postal 2 :q:
Going into combat with a small army of guards in assasins creed 2 and winning without losing any health. Oh, or killing anyone. Just beating every single one senseless with my bare hands.
well, i'm a pacifist, i am.
For my shame I would say the seriously achievemen on gears of war 1.
It took quite a bit of time to get and unlike seriously 2.0 on gears 2 all of the kills had to be online (no spamming private matches or certain sections of he campaign). Getting good with the shotgun and learning the maps was fun and due to the in your face nature of the game every kill felt like a personal victory.
I know it's not high brow entertainment and the gears franchise is in no way the most sophisticated of gaming legacies but it required effort and I'm quite proud of myself. :)
Finally killing Theseus in God of War II on titan difficulty after twenty+ tries. Wailing on the circle button as I did was an orgasmic sensation.

There was also a moment in TF2 where we were thrown into sudden death. My comrades slaughtered the other team, but we were missing one guy. We scoured the map for him with no luck until I happened upon the enemy soldier. I managed to kill him with one second left on the clock, I kid you not.
Also, knifing anyone in any game.
Pretty much all of Bioshock.
I was in constant awe while playing that game.
The end of Modern Warfare 2.

The ending of Cryostasis

Seriously while the game runs like dog and the gameplay gets boring at times, the end is worth it all
Many moments on Heroes of Newerth, most likely one of the times I was Night Hound and mopping up the enemy team and running around with glee as they chased me for vengeance.
Killing the last boss in Prototype with 1 second left on the timer.
Not my best moment but it is my most recent.
I can remember that that boss was a bitch to kill.
In Empires (the source mod), surviving for a lot of time after you lost all your tickets and everyone has nukes. Sudden death became active and we rushed through their defenses before they rushed through ours. The enemy comm was in range, a teammate fired a nuke, it flew through the air and we.... lost?! An APC snook up to our comm and hit it with a nade. :v:
Destroying bridges and smokestacks in Red Faction: Guerrilla is also epic to watch.
Two moments come to mind:
1) The final fight in HL2:EP2. It was insanely hard, but taking down the last strider just as it came within firing range of the base gave an incredible feeling.
2) MGS4 Metal Gear fight. Need I explain this one?
I know it is scripted this way, but the level in crysis where you get out of a dropship and over a hill just to see this beautiful bay area by night, with AAs shooting in the distance and planes flying overhead and crashing in the mountain behind you, that was awesome!
Oh also, dropping nukes on medieval castles in Empire Earth :aaa:
Playing the N64 Zelda games for the first time.
Performing what some may call "The Big Daddy Slip-n-Slide" in Bioshock for the first time. That, or figuring out the proxy mine trick.
Sadly, one of my best moments was a multiplayer round of Halo.
I unintentionally stuck someone all the way on the opposite side of the map.
Me and a bunch of mates in CS 1.6 were rushing towards an AWP son of a bitch faggot ass base.
We were planning for 6 to strike from behind and us other 8 strike forward.4 of the forces that were striking from behind had the autoshotgun,2 others an machinegun and the other an M4a1.
We all striked forward with 4 with shotguns and other random machineguns.
It was incredibly epic, the Terrorists where fucking paniccing everywhere along with a random CT playing Chateau from Rob Dougan.
It was one of the best moments ever in my life.
4 terrorists instrantly died when we rushed, one was yelling trought the mic while others were like fucking hacking killing T's with knifes and shotguns and m4a1's.
We all got over 13-15 kills.
Sadly 2 died :frown:
The ending stages of Mass Effect (after you go [sp]through the Conduit[/sp]) were absolutely epic, IMO.
Running down the side of [sp]the Citadel with Sovereign looming overhead while fighting the Geth[/sp] was awesome.
Pretty much all the missions in the last part of the game in The Saboteur. Every single one of them were incredibly intense, fast-paced, action-packed and just overall awesome.
