What is your most epic/awesome in-game moment you have ever experienced? - Games

Ahh Far Cry 2 brings back some epic moments..I hope I get this one right. I was being chased by a jeep full of people shooting at me, and I was running low on health. It was night time and I had no idea where I was...but I was driving down a winding road with no available cover in sight, so I thought I was screwed. However, up ahead I saw some rocks and what looked like an incline in the road - so I decided to speed off the road, and crash into the rocks. Turns out it was a giant ledge that I had sped off. My jeep tumbled over the rocks like a toy and I landed after falling about 20 meters, into a shallow stream. I quickly got out of my jeep and put my back against the rocks I had fallen from. An easy way to describe the next scene is that it was a lot like the part in the first Lord of the Rings, when the 4 hobbits were hunching below the tree and the ring wraith stood ontop of them on his horse, searching for them. The enemies in the jeep got out and were standing ontop of the rocks, or atleast close to them - I could hear them talking, they didn't know where I went. Slowly, I made my way down the stream, making sure to keep my cover against the rocks, until I made my way about 50 meters from them. I slowly made my way back up the hill while crouching, hunched beside a tree, took out my silenced sniper out, and killed the 3 enemies with 4 shots :x

Washington D.C in MW2

Playing Co-op with my big brother in Splinter Cell: CT. He rushed into a room with 3 guards, I quickly ran in and knifed all of them after they gunned him down. Then I revived him, and we completed the mission. Fucking intense :clint:

On Halo 3, we were playing Big Team Social when ALL the team leaves apart from 2 of us. For a while they keep finding us but then we find the warthog and ended up winning with a 10 point lead. I looked at my stats after the game and saw that i had 79 driver assist medals.

Getting a headshot with a stinger in MW2 multiplayer. GTA:IV multiplayer: All people got into those tour choppers flying around for fun. But they didn't wait for me to get in and flew away just when I arrived at the tour office. They laughed over their mics to me. Then I took out a deagle and shot randomly at the highest up chopper, killing the pilot with a headshot :v: The chopper started spinning and going down hitting another one, exploding in a nice big explosion. The third one got away.... Then I managed to shoot his tail off with a deagle somehow :X and he crashed into the ocean with a nice splash. Then I went into a speedboat and drove away from the bruning remains like "Cya in hell fuckers" (They actually hunted me down with a stolen gunship as revenge. Was awesome too because I was in that speedboat dodging bullets as they flew past me. I go under a brigde, and well... The chopper chose a frontal confrontation with the brigde)

Killing Baal in Diablo 2

I was playing 2Fort, a friend of mine was playing as well on a laptop, he was engineer and I was spy, and after stalking around the enemy base for a bit, they had 3 sentries at separate locations, one at the hall looking at the main entrances, one outside the upstairs spawn room, and one overlooking the courtyard. It was 2 points each, and I didn't think I could get each sentry individually to allow any of my team to get in for a capture, so I went pyro, my friend went medic and we decided to try and get the intel ourselves, we went up through their sewer, already having prepared our first uber, the engineer, and by extension his sentry went down quite easily, so we cleared the main entrance. the second sentry was on the balcony overlooking the courtyard, so my friend sat in the corner so he could see incoming threats from any angles, meanwhile I just kept an eye and waited for another uber, a couple dead enemies later and occasionally getting in sentry range to build up the uber faster and we could make a charge. Again we took the sentry down, the third one was out of the way, built in the upstairs room towards the back to kill any scouts trying to jump in from the balcony, we were headed down the back and could ignore this, as we headed there though we got the announcement that our intel was taken, we managed to get into the intel room and grab it, we headed back for the stairs and saw a scout carrying our intel. I killed him and we decided to risk waiting with our intel, another scout came in and grabbed it, but luckily he backed away, presumably deciding to run it back up the stairs and down the spiral, no problem though, he just had it dropped on the stairs for us. We sat to each side of it and kept an eye in each direction, we held it out for the full minute, killing any enemies who came our way, mostly engineers and scouts, a couple attack classes and at one point another pyro, both of us getting a fair few kills before the return, then we managed to make a clean run out of their base. Just as we got into our intel room we saw an enemy heavy medic team making a run for our intel, I run past them, spraying fire while strafing for the capture, capping it and easily having the kill. Felt awesome for hours after that.

The Darkness. When the main characters girlfriend gets killed in front of him and the darkness is holding him back.

Not my best moment but it is my most recent.[/QUOTE] Same thing happened to me, I go in the air and use my devastator and my heart skipped for a second when my screen faded to black to see if time ran out or I actually beat the boss.

I'm in Red Orchestra as a German. I see a tank approach and fire off a panzerfaust and miss. I fire a second (and last) one and miss again. Now the tank fires its machine gun at me. I rush behind a small ridge and there is a panzerfaust spawn there so I grab one. I peak up and the tank opens fire, but I fire and still miss. Now I see the tank begin to climb the small ridge and am shitting myself waiting for the panzerfaust to respawn. Just as the tank comes over the top of the ridge the panzerfaust spawns and I fire it into the bottom of the tank. Boom, dead. It was like a movie.

I really enjoyed Modern Warfare 2 a lot... It was short, but the entire thing was amazingly cool... It wasn't the most advanced or challenging, but just the bad assness of it all.

Mount and Blade. Recently, I gave up trying to make a well rounded character and opted for a better strategy. Make "Ass-Kicking" my new dump stat. No archery. No trade. No leadership. No engineering. No prisoner management. I can now defeat armies of roughly 30-40 men now with an army of consisting of myself. So, basically, my awesome moment is every large battle after I had leveled up a bit.
