Ah, right. I forgot. They're all under fifteen years old.
It's funny because they utterly raped your argument.

A few did. The rest didn't read.
Or learned everything they know about the military from COD4.
What did you expect B.net is the only place on the Internet that is more immature than FP.
Look at the shapes of the guns. Needler - no discernible reloading mechanism besides snapping the gun back then forwards. Needle rifle and carbine - complete lack of shoulder stock, extremely awkward grips, and the fact that the magazine ejects right at your face.
What about needlers, needle rifles and carbines - those seemed pretty efficient.
The Carbine released a green cloud of radioactive gas directly into the face of whoever was using it.

I agree.
"Oh man! You really need to learn to recognize the symbols on top of the charger—and count your shots, too. First time I picked one up I just about brained myself when it ejected."
"Wish it was smaller; wish it had a proper stock—or at least a butt pad."
"Hey — don’t inhale immediately after the charger ejects. I heard that shit will give you Boren’s Syndrome."
Master chief has his crazy friggin armor and weapons, which i atleast believe would beat anything in ME, but i would dare say that sherpard is more skilled, and he's a team player.
So my point is, if both the chief and shepard are fully equiped with stuff from their respective games, then Master Chief would win, if neither of them have any armor or shield, and are only equiped with with simple pistols, Shepard would win.
All of Masthurr Cheef's weapons are inferior to those from ME, and the armor is debatable since you need enhancements to put it on (seriously, see Fall of Reach, the damn thing killed an unaugmented soldier).

You don't need to aim with a needler.

That's actually not so simple. Because Mass Effect armor and shields are meant to take impacts from magnetically-accelerated projectiles. Which do a SHITLOAD more damage than bullets because, especially with the help of element zero, they're traveling at near-relativistic speeds. Given that weapons in the Mass Effect Universe also use these projectiles, they might pose a serious threat to the MC's shields and armor. Unless, of course, he uses his reflexes to his advantage and manages to slip past Shepard's guard. Also difficult because Shepard is apparently a perfect genetic specimen.
The projectiles are also super slow.

Also soldiershep has bullet time, which negates supar spead masthur cheaf refleckses.
So is Master Chief that's how they select Spartans.
Chief already has those implants, thus making the Armour non-debatable really.
Halo Weapons fire bullets, ME weapons fire whta is practically, bullets.
A C-fractional grain of sand-sized shard of metal is more damaging than a ~850ms bullet.
Now I think about it, using plasma in weapons is almost useless - it looks pretty, it hurts upon impact, and... that's about it.
I might be a little late here, but wouldn't plasma burn/melt just about anything since it's you know over 10000K (could probably be heated to be far, far, far hotter)
Nevermind just read the second page and i see that this has all been thought thoroughly.
Including the user/weapon if proper containment wasn't used.

Actually 3,000 degrees celcius. Anyway, I'm saying it's useless because it's like White Phosphorous or Napalm: Greeeeat against infantry and soft-skinned vehicles when used in abundance. But absolutely fucking terrible against heavy armor. Anti-Tank weapons are meant for penetration, a quality plasma by itself doesn't have.
Furthermore, one shot and the enemy knows where you are. It's worse than using tracers, it's a big sign saying "HERE I AM, SHOOT ME NOW!"

Which is exactly how the covenant employ their plasma weapons, as for the everyone knows, do you really think they care since they are pretty much religious fanatics.
They still use plasma weapons against heavy vehicles i.e. the Wraith SPG's main gun.

+ plasma cannon
Well, i'm not sure have you discussed about the possibilities of las based weapons (40k) yet.

Careful. The Taliban are religious fanatics, but they actually employ brilliant tactics when fighting against coalition troops. read Ed Macy's Apache to understand what I mean.
+ plasma cannon
plasma cannons (I'm assuming you're talking about the ones on Shades and Banshees) are anti-infantry. Both of the examples I listed either have an AV variant or a secondary AV weapon.

I meant the hand-held one from Halo: Reach - the ones which replaced these:

That's a Fuel Rod Gun, which isn't a plasma weapon.
aka Flashlights.
Gyrojets > Las weapons.
Though unless I'm mistaken, las rifles are actually pretty damn powerful, just not compared to Bolters and such.
Only if they're 18mm AP gyrojets with a miniature fusion charge in the tip. Otherwise lasers are superior.

Oh yeah plasma launcher rate me boxes

If your wearing guard armour or equivilant...possibly, fluff wise, but they're pretty much (gameplay terms) at the bottom of the pile in terms of dangerousness (of course, their dangerousness multiplies the more you have of them)
Note: "Replaced"
The model was replaced, and a few changes made, but tis still a fuel Rod gun which still wasn't a plasma weapon in any of the games.
