Hey, at least you wouldn't bleed out.
I dunno about you, but I'd rather bleed out if I had a wound like that and no immediate help. Would be agonizing like you or I can't even imagine.

Lets say that this poor sob got his burns from his marine buddy got who shot in the chest with that big metal armor on and got splashed by molten metal/armor/plasma. D:

Thats a point, Bungie where dead on when it came to armor colours: The marines wear dull metallic colours, and considering all the marines on halo where based on a big, dull, metallic ship, that explains the cameo they wear.
And hyper violent religion freaks with guns DO tend to wear bright colours!
And hyper violent religion freaks with guns DO tend to wear bright colours!
Well, the Taliban wear camouflage or black most of the time :P
Well, the Taliban wear camouflage or black most of the time :P
Isnt the use of bright fabrics only for special occasions?
Well, the Taliban wear camouflage or black most of the time :P
That's it, we need to convince them that they need to wear bright colors! THE WAR ON TERROR IS COMING TO A CLOSE!
The technology of the Halo Universe is arguably second only to the tech of the Star Wars Universe.
A Covenant Cruiser could easily beat a Reaper, and would probably be able to go toe-to-toe with a Borg Cube.

Well you wear SMELLY.
Hah.
That'll learn ya.

Oh god oh god oh god politically, racially AND religiously sensitive territory.
Uhh eh ah HOW BOUT THEM YANKEES!?
And there are no hoverboards or flying cars
This is what first tipped me off about it being unrealistic.

Warhammer 40k.
WARP DEMONS EVERYWHERE

The Death Star trumps ALL. It can blow up a planet every few MINUTES.(The second one could) The Covenant can't do THAT, can they?
Isnt the use of bright fabrics only for special occasions?
Well, it's because in a combat capacity they want to make themselves difficult to see. That's why the Viet Cong wore black.

And civilian clothes.

The NOVA bomb comes pretty close, and the standard tactic the Forerunners used against the Flood was to make stars go supernova.
If you add the Forerunner to the technology comparison, the Halo Universe comes really close to beating Star Wars, possibly even surpassing it in some aspects.

The Star Wars Universe has a ship that can make stars go supernova also, in the expanded universe (shit that happens AFTER the movies) it's used to destroy all the Imperial warships in a Star System. It was also so powerful that it's armor couldn't be destroyed by the enormous pressure of begin a in a HUGE Gas Planet's core, requiring them to throw it into a Black hole.
The armour could just be a primer color too, with the purpose of the marines painting it themselves to adapt to whichever environment they're going into.
I always figured the Covenant were just arrogant, convinced of their superiority over everyone who wasn't part of the Covenant so they just waltz in where-ever they please. They have an entire class of infantry with the sole purpose of being cannon fodder so what do they care if they take casualties, if things go really bad they just turn the place into a smoldering crater from orbit.

"Sometimes a ship will emerge from Warp space centuries after it left yet its passengers have experienced only a few days onboard, while many more vanish without trace."
"Along with the powers of Chaos, the Immaterium is inhabited by many strange creatures formed from psychic energy, foremost among these being the species known as the Enslavers. They are spontaneously created by the shifting energies of the Warp from the nightmares of sentient species, and prowl the Immaterium like sharks. The Enslavers are able to psychically control other species, forcing them to their will, hence their name."
The world can trump the Death Star.
Lol @ all the fanboys arguing.

Not so much the Borg. One of the Star Trek EU novels touches on using plasma weaponry against the Borg.
It didn't end well.

in assassins creed you always wore white because you killed people during daytime and the sky was whiteish
