in the future, weapons are driven by its size and amount of sharp angles thus sacrificing ergonomics.
Their Particle Shields (used against physical objects) are VERY powerful since the Star Destroyers are so huge that they would be regularly pummeled by asteroids without them.
Well shit. Still, the Forerunners and Precursors, but that's just not fair.
i wouldn't play eve because i think it is boring it's like playing a space version of a facebook app
Star Wars would win in all of these fights, the absolutely retarded noise the Tie Fighter makes would make all ships blow and and all infantry stick their weapons into their mouths and kill themselves.
When it comes right down to it, you got to ask yourself one thing: where the chainsaws at, bro?
40K triumps again, we have fucking chainswords!
Star Wars would win in all of these fights, the absolutely retarded noise the Tie Fighter makes would make all ships blow and and all infantry stick their weapons into their mouths and kill themselves.
Or laugh in eager anticipation as they now know that a TIE Fighter is coming ad where from.
i wouldn't play eve because i think it is boring it's like playing a space version of a facebook app
See, I geek out over spreadsheets, so it's really perfect for me. Just not $15/month perfect.
Almost anything, anyway. In one of the series, an alien lifeform from another part of the universe managed to make their way to our galaxy, because the Borg basically flipped them off on behalf of the Milky Way races. They couldn't assimilate them until the main series ship, Voyager, helped out. Enemy of my enemy type of deal.
Species 8471 is in a completely different league compared to anything most of the races could throw at it, I'd go so far to say that the only Universe that would stand a chance against them would be Warhammer 40k (Since they seem to be pretty much intelligent Tyrannids.)
Star Wars would win in all of these fights, the absolutely retarded noise the Tie Fighter makes would make all ships blow and and all infantry stick their weapons into their mouths and kill themselves.
Space marines can spit acid. Tell me what beats that.
I wonder, who would win, the Flood or the Yuuzhan-Vong?
Well shit. Still, the Forerunners and Precursors, but that's just not fair.
Oh, and yet ANOTHER reason why their Particle Shields are strong is because the main weapons sued against Capital Ships by fighters are Proton Torpedoes (which are actually insanely powerful Nuclear missiles)
the flood cuz the flood assimilate and Yuuzhan-Vong are extreme space hippies
Oh, and yet ANOTHER reason why their Particle Shields are strong is because the main weapons sued against Capital Ships by fighters are Proton Torpedoes (which are actually insanely powerful Nuclear missiles)
But the Forerunner fleet in their last confrontation with the flood accidentally entire star systems.
40K triumps again, we have fucking chainswords! The only reason George Lucas put sounds in the movies and he said this himself, is because it's a MOVIE.
Space marines can spit acid. Tell me what beats that.
Well, I can't think of anything, except that it'd make french kissing a real bitch.
the flood cuz the flood assimilate and Yuuzhan-Vong are extreme space hippies
Yuuzhan Vong are REAL threats. 13 TRILLION lives were lost as a result of the war against the Yuuzhan Vong.
Their Particle Shields (used against physical objects) are VERY powerful since the Star Destroyers are so huge that they would be regularly pummeled by asteroids without them.
Similar thing to kinetic barriers in Mass Effect, then. Thing is, the UNSC did have limited success against the Covenant in space, and they used similar shielding. MAC cannons are a much different beast compared to asteroids. MAC cannons fire at 1/3c, which is pretty damn fast.
There's no sound in space... The only reason George Lucas put sounds in the movies and he said this himself, is because it's a MOVIE.
Which negates his point still, but my reply was calculated to include the possibility that the tie fighter was in atmosphere at the time.
But the Forerunner fleet in their last confrontation with the flood accidentally entire star systems.
It's kind of unfair to compare the technology of Star Wars and Halo when you consider Star Wars had warp drive longer then we've had the wheel.
Yuuzhan Vong are REAL threats. 13 TRILLION lives were lost as a result of the war against the Yuuzhan Vong.
that is because they didn't want to use biological warefare on the yuuzhan vong or something or did they i dunno i remember something about that or i am thinking about death troopers
Similar thing to kinetic barriers in Mass Effect, then. Thing is, the UNSC did have limited success against the Covenant in space, and they used similar shielding. (Unless the object in question is bigger than the shield)
that is because they didn't want to use biological warefare on the yuuzhan vong or something or did they i dunno i remember something about that or i am thinking about death troopers
They only got that Biological weapon near the end of the war.
how come mac cannons don't fly away when they fire
that is because they didn't want to use biological warefare on the yuuzhan vong or something or did they i dunno i remember something about that or i am thinking about death troopers
There was a tree on some planet who's pollen caused their crab armor to swell up, killing the soldier. It was insanely successful until they wiped out the planet the tree was on.

also in the future, chainsaw bayonets, heavy and prone to jam mechanics, are a must on standard issue weaponry. stocks however, are unheard of! it is also very important to stick as many bright LEDs to them as possible, this shows the enemy that you are meaning business, and not playing some stupid video-game. This thread seems like a simple rant against the Halo series. Stop being nitpicky to this game, when you can pick out worse concepts in other games. It's a game, not real life. If it was real life, the plasma would burn the skin off the humans down to the bone, maybe even further.
I love this thread :buddy:
