Diretide [Dota 2 Halloween event] - Games

this game mode is awesome, the speed is a major plus compared to grinding the start of the game

i really hope this gamemode isn't restricted to halloween only, this gamemode is TONS of fun

This gamemode seems like it can get old really quick, so I guess it's not really a bad thing if they decide to make it only playable on Halloween.

So how to item drops work in this? Do you just earn items as you get the candy, or when you complete the match. Also, would it just be random players or does everyone on the team get guaranteed an item?

Omniknight is fantastic playing this, get boots of speed, cast repel, teleport back and fourth between the enemies pumpkin and yours. also you're pretty much immune to rosh

This is so good to just take a break from regular Dota, so much fun and seen people team up to get Rosh is amazing, at that point, nobody hates each other and its just pure love all around. GG valve!

My internet went down while playing and I got low prio for 1 day.. It doesn't give you any items on LP, so dumb.

dark seer, windrunner, and antimage amazing

Mages are p much useless in the fight against roshan just get carries, and pudge or clockwerk game set, you win by default, everything is awful

Looking through the game files, it looks like the egg will hatch into a Greevil Courier. The magic essence you feed the egg will determine what colour the Greevil will be. [editline]30th October 2012[/editline] And you all get items if you collected the most candies. So, you get 2 items guaranteed if your team collects the most candy and last hits rosh.
