Diretide [Dota 2 Halloween event] - Games

Hahahaha, so I decided out of the blue to repay Valve for all the fun I had in Dota 2(which i recieved for free of course) by buying some keys... I dont feed bad but with 12 keys(16 Keys used in total in Diretide Chests, I got 4 from trading rares), I'd imagine I would at least get a courier :C The dissapointment is huge haha but at least I'm helping Valve to continue been filthy rich.

I know people who manage to get the rarest shit ever in every uncrating. I've only gotten a single courier out of the many crates I've gotten, and not a single thing above uncommon.

Yay, got my first unusual essence! :D

What's your opinion on those greevil eggs? I got a seraphic one, should I trade it now for about 2 keys, or will it become more valuable in the future, when they hatch? I'm afraid the market will be flooded with those hatchlings and their price will decrease dramatically.

My friend just got a Corpsemaker. Yesterday he dropped a shadow essence. Oh well, can't blame my luck either, got 2 rares from diretide recently.

Necrolyte is friggin brilliant in this. Hate him before because i always played the supporty version. This mode made me realize his massive potential

I believe that it can still be played, even if it wouldn't drop any items (or random drops at the end like in normal games), but it should be able to be played in private games at least if not normal queue. Also, Nyx is amazing at Diretide, just like he is amazing pretty much always. Enemies carry so much candy that the usual R -> Q -> W -> Dagon combo isn't required. Backstab + Dagon usually is enough to kill candy carriers. Only bad thing about him is that he isn't too good against rosh. None of his basic abilities seem to have any effect, only his ult does.

So I just played Diretide for giggles and my truce effect disappeared so the enemy team could kill me. Wat.

Am I the only one capable of Seraphic but not choosing it? I'm leaving my egg at Greedy, I want to see what's coming out.

Wee, just got an unusual essence. Now I'm really not sure whether I should leave my Egg greedy or make it seraphic. What hatches out of these anyway? I know couriers. but I wonder how they look and how does level change it.

levels determine the type of animations it has and ears/wings/etc.

Has anyone else played Diretide since the day it came out and not gotten a single unusual or dark essence, second egg (I was told they can drop), or mythical of any kind? I fucking hate this game.

I'm pretty sure additional Eggs can only be gotten from crates or be bought directly from the store.
