He has to add that to the create mode.

Never shall I get lost in my labyrinth of caves again.

But I wonder if there will be a way to make the signs face a certain direction? Maybe that could be dependant of where the player is in relation to the block it's being placed on. As in make the sign initially face the general block face the player is on.

I love how he redid the signs, I seriously can't wait for them. I shall never get lost in a mine again!

Quite frankly, you can make it by with just stone tools and use the steel/diamond for swords and arrows and such.

Why use cartograph to find diamonds, just use nbtedit to give yourself them if your going to cheat. more ores would be cool, i mean dwarf fortress has like 100+ and it manages to work. Adding more metals would be really cool.

Useful update, never expected signs. I still want a minecart and [i]slanted[/i] blocks.

I only use cartograph to actually map. In fact, I can't get any of the other functions to work at all. I'm working on a glass fortress right now. I've got it about half-ish stone and glass so far. While I was working on the top floor, a spider decided that it would jump over and squeeze in the area I had cleared (and was CURRENTLY filling in) and invade my fortress. I died once, but I managed to get back in and take my fortress back from him.

You know you fail at minecraft when a spider takes your fortress.

Ive mined the last of the sand deposits on my floating Island, and I haven't finished making windows :(

Goddammit. I've spent north of 10 hours on my Infdev map, most of it mining, and I still can't find any Diamond. I have a full chest (not a large chest, but a chest) of cobblestone, and I've already used ~250 blocks making an escape route if I should ever need one in my fortress.
