I think Notch turned down the monster spawn rates too much, i haven't seen a single mob during two full nights.
Edit: Never mind, about five creepers just spawned in front of me and blew up.

Fuck. I don't know what he did to mob spawn rates, but as soon as my game loaded up a fucking CLOUD of pigs landed on top of me IN MY SEALED HOUSE and when I scrambled into my greenhouse three pigs had already ruined a quarter of my crops. FFFFFFF-
I am now making a "no pigs allowed pls" sign. :mad:

I'm having problems here. It's been an hour, and I still can't reach infdev. I can reach the forums, the blog, the main site, creative mode, survival mode, but not indev and infdev. I'm logged in, it's just that the site itself won't load.
Use the client.
Client fails to open for me, unless I'm supposed to run it as something else.

I love doors. It gave me the safety to kill a big spider on my first night, with just a 3/4 broken wooden sword to defend myself.
I love this game.

I'm making a mansion on top of natural spire over a lake. Over 500 blocks of wood used already, and I need some iron or gold for my chandeliers. Luckily, found about 30 blocks of coal so I'm not going to run out of torches or fuel soon.
