How do I update the .jar file for the infdev client?
My 3x3 staircases and 3 tile wide doorways are obsolete. Now I will have to use 6 tons of smooth stone and deal with uneven rooms. use this, replace one in lib folder which is in infdev folder. http://minecraft.net/infdev/client/minecraft.jar

Can't wait to play the next update!

I'm also gonna have to redo my method of getting between the levels in my base to make things better. These stairs are slow and annoying anyway.
Staiways aren't completely obsolete. Stairs look better than ladder for decorative purposes. So Im still going to use them in most places.
I don't like C418's "mixtape" (as Notch puts it) :saddowns: It's too sporadic to fit Minecraft's smooth, easygoing style.
Oh, and feel free to look at my Minecraft Albums on my Dropbox: Pics of Things I make in Creative (Empty) Pics of Infdev [editline]04:59PM[/editline] :ninja: Broke my Automerge.
Do saplings grow in Infdev?
I don't like C418's "mixtape" (as Notch puts it) :saddowns: It's too sporadic to fit Minecraft's smooth, easygoing style.
What? It fits the pixel theme of minecraft, and shows the fun side of it. It's perfect for creative mode
Do saplings grow in Infdev?
Yes, but they still need light, can only be planted in dirt (doesn't need to be tilled) and water near the soil helps it grow faster but is not necessary.
Would help if the client didn't crash. I knew what I was paying for when I sent him money but fuck, sort your shit out.
I'm loving the new update. Not only are the ladders more convenient than making steps, I got a massive framerate boost. Also found that the most efficient pattern for ladders while still having smooth ladder movement is to put a ladder every other block.
I don't like C418's "mixtape" (as Notch puts it) :saddowns: It's too sporadic to fit Minecraft's smooth, easygoing style.
Yeah, I don't think it would fit in that good with Minecraft. Although maybe it would...
I put a huge ladder from my house to my mine that's 2 blocks above lava. Now I can transport stone and ore faster.

what would minecraft hell be like?
Congratulations! You have the recommended Java installed (Version 6 Update 20).
what would minecraft hell be like?
Theres already a hell map you can choose in the generator :buddy:
I don't get why everyone's complaining of lag. I, myself, got a framerate boost aswell. though this sapling keeps uprooting itself in my underground tree growing room. :argh:
It's fine for me and everyone else, did you try and redownload java? [editline]09:07PM[/editline] Me and a lot of other people got really bad lag with this update
I think Notch secretly works for Valve. He uses Valve Standard Time and releases updates with good content but ends up breaking a lot of things. The update also ruined a lot of people's framerates. It's the 119th update, Minecraft-style.
haha, oh wow I've got to try this [editline]08:46PM[/editline] you're a dirty liar.
use left click
use left click
oh ok, also did he just update again? [editline]09:17PM[/editline] you're still a dirty liar, kondor.
oh ok, also did he just update again? [editline]09:17PM[/editline] you're still a dirty liar, kondor.
There's nothing on his blog...
Me and a lot of other people got really bad lag with this update
Mine had really bad lag in the webclient, but in the infdev downloadable client, all's fine now
Chrome is always laggy for me but in Opera it runs perfectly :/
Well well, didn't know that the player hull was so small :v:
I'm glad to be back! Anywho, while I was waiting for the ability to create a new account, I've bought the game, and love it! Also, when Infdev Multiplayer finally rolls of the production line, I'm would like (if we don't have to many already) a miner and blasting technician (ie: guy who places and detonates TNT for blast mining)
Damnit spawn rates are too low now at night. I havent seen a big group of skeletons in a while. Falling off of ladders is now more dangerous than night to me.
Progressing on the site still. IT'S LIKE A MOVIE :0
