This is why you store everything in large chests.

Avatar fits :v:
I wish Notch would add oceans to Infdev.
I'm tired of these large lakes.
There are a bunch of things notch needs to add to the level generator.
and DONT DIG BELOW YOUR FEET.

I've done that on several occasions but I never seem to remember.
Also I'll have a live stream up in a sec if anyone wants to check it out.
I myself got a framerate boost with this update.
Also has anyone seen any sheep since the update I haven't seen any.
Also monsters are a little too rare now, I have to go searching for them.
Staiways aren't completely obsolete. Stairs look better than ladder for decorative purposes. So Im still going to use them in most places.
Function > Appearance
So Ladders for me as long as I have any.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen any sheep...
I also haven't seen any monsters, but I've heard a few at night, so I know they're there.

I have. Actually, when I was using my furnace, three sheep just spawned out of thin air. :downs:
The lack of monsters is good for me, in some cases, but I slightly miss them now.

Sheep still spawn.
Wait. Fuck.
In all the excitement of the signs and ladders I forgot about the chairs that don't exist.

Ah well. Ladders are cooler. :v:
Just had my first sheep suicide while mining. I decided that after having all of my other mines in spots where I can't tell the time (so I can swap to building/gathering wood), I just decided to make the outside of a really tall mountain both the building and the mine whilst I carve it into a flatter surface. The mountain's also right next to a forest, which is even more convenient.

Well for the grand entrance up to a castle, stairs fit. but for interior and mine passage ways ladder all the way.
Why is frame rate going up and down after this update?
I don't like C418's "mixtape" (as Notch puts it) :saddowns:
It's too sporadic to fit Minecraft's smooth, easygoing style.
He said he was working on ways to make the game's music react to what you were doing or your current in-game situation. I'd imagine that just building and walking would have calm, easygoing music while encountering mobs and taking a sword to them causes the music to change and pick up. I'd imagine it'd also sound a bit more dangerous as night falls and you enter dark areas.
I think that'd be :krad2:.
Sorry I haven't really been following this. I've bought the game a while ago, and just now realized how much fun infdev can be. My only question is, is there anyway to share infdev maps with friends?
Yeah. you can upload the save file to a file sharing site and give it to whoever you choose.
I'm putting my stream back up.

Now featuring ladders, signs, doors, and water that looks like shit. :buddy:
Progressing on the site still.

I dont like the random commercial interruptions. :frown:
Also, I'm pretty frustrated that it's so hard to place straightened signs, that destroying a sign produces a single plank, and most of all that I can't edit a sign after I make it. In regards to placement, I think Notch should just make the signs face straight north/south/east/west like all the other objects in the world. It's too hard to place them properly with all these diagonal angles.

I'll be up in a second (hopefully)
Where can I get this cartographer program?
has anyone else noticed the lava is water tinged like how water is lava tinged on the edges?
15 FUCKING DIAMONDS!
/caps.

Step 1. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR WINDOWS LOGON NAME HERE\Application Data\.minecraft\saves
Step 2. Make it a .zip archive using WinRAR or something similar
Step 3. Go to Megaupload, Filesmelt, whathaveyou and upload
Step 4. Share it with the world!
