For some reason I couldn't craft ladders in the infdev client, so I crafted one on the site, and when I logged back into the client, it crashed every time I opened my inventory. Now I can only play on the site. Any fixes?

It' facing you, so right and left are reversed. It's talking about the skin's right, not yours.

Doors ladders and signs are fucking useful, I don't have to spend all my time making massive staircases to get anywhere when I can set up a ladder. Doors are good because now I don't have to block my doorway with dirt every night and break one every few minutes to see if Day time is here or not. And signs are fairly useful as well, I can finally label where everything is at in my mining shafts that tend to run all over the place.

I really just want water to move again, as my favorite things to build are underwater forts.

Shame that Notch didn't add the new content to indev, I have another ongoing settlement in indev, I broke into the most honest to God, intricate series of mine tunnels last night, I spent hours just going through them, setting out torches near the ores so I could come back with more tools and dig. But I totally got lost and ended up having to dig my way up. When I finally surfaced, it turned out I was totally miles away from the mine entrance, out in the middle of the ocean.
