I hate the new spawn rates. I've been looking for creepers for a couple of nights now and I've yet to find one.

Seriously I had like 8 creepers outside of my temporary shack every night, now that I have a well lit fort I hardly ever see them. Sorta miss them. :(

Oh Jesus fucking christ, I was walking through my dam into my storage area, Now the room is only three tiles high, Soon as I open the door a sheep spawns and Falls infront of me. I jumped back and shut the door, I nearly pissed myself.

I dug a whole from the very top of a mountain, to the very bottom down to the lava. Secured the top area with a small wall, and had ladders to allow me to climb down this gigantic hole safely. However, I made the mistake of climbing up on my topside wall to see what was making the footstep noises. Was a skeleton archer, he shot at me, the arrow hit me, knocked me back, right down my hole, I got lucky because I managed to land on the ladder I'd placed about 7 blocks away from an instant splatter death. Not gonna fall for that again.

When you load someone elses save do you start where they saved it or do you start in the respawn position? (where you first spawn and where you span when you die.)

It takes twice as long to mine things on a ladder, tool or not. They have the exact same physics as water blocks currently.
