I've begun building towers in a grid fashion radiating out from my base of operations in order to navigate. Each tower is linked underground by a length of combustible wood, so in event of catastrophic failure, I can send up a huge warning signal... to myself. Looking south west. Multiplayer is coming closer day by day.. it's going to be so fun. I hope within next month.

To be honest I don't really care about multiplayer coming out. I just want Notch to fix up water, and maybe implement a couple of cool dwarffort-ish features like water pumps and traps.

That wasn't necessarily Notch. There was this guy earlier who had the account "Notch", but had a Heavy skin. Besides, that skin doesn't look like Notch's original one.
