If anything, real life DOESN'T run on Windows BY ANY CHANCE.
well, it is an .exe after all
Need For Speed: Hot Persuit 2
Need For Speed II
Are you shitting me? TDU is nowhere near a simulator, not close at all.
Not saying it isn't enjoyable to speed at 200 mph on an MC12 and blowing past every cop on the island while doing 300ft long jumps, but it just isn't realistic.
There aren't any jumps
The GTR games are quite good for racing.
Richard Burns Rally was a pretty damn realistic rally game.
Carmaggedon of course
GTA 4.
at least it lets you drive around streets in a relatively normal world.
Played that already as well. :)
EDIT: It's the best car simulator in my opinion, but I made this thread cuz there might be ones out there with more feautures.
Its arcade not simulator.
If you want a simulator look for games like GTR or rFactor

It's very meh on handling of the cars, and not very racing wheel friendly.
Live for Speed is my choice for driving.
3D Driving school. Best driving simulator.

Driving Simulator 2009 fucking sucks.
I'd go with TDU, but that just isn't really realistic. It is fun though.
The only real driving games that are enjoyable are trucking games. I prefer ETS.
DiRT2 is a slightly arcade-y, heavy rally sim/racer. Tons of fun, and difficult to master.
I also hear that Need for Speed: Shift abandoned the course of previous titles and went the sim route, sporting much more realistic driving dynamics and some heavy tuning customization.
He's looking for a Driving Simulator. Something he can just roam around in. People can't read nowadays.

AHAHAHAHHA dirt 2 a rally sim?
HAHAHAHAHA
Gran Turismo ffs
I too would love to drive around suburbs, cities, etc casually and very realistically without having to spend cash on gas.
Burnout paradise :hurr:
AHAHAHAHHA dirt 2 a rally sim?
HAHAHAHAHA
Shift is less of a sim game than Dirt is...
Mafia 1 was quite fun for driving around, the cars were heavy.
GT Legends is good if you don't mind circuit racing but love old cars.
There aren't any jumps
Yes there are, go to the inner parts of the island, any speed over 150 kph on those jumps would make you jump a big distance

With the Real Mod 2.0b it isn't
I've only played the demo, but NFS:Shift felt quite solid and realistic for a console game, even more so for a NFS game.
It also has a nice selection of cars from what I can tell.
Hes looking for a more drive around not race. Read people. Also yeah I ahve been looking for one too.
There aren't any jumps
shit video but you get the idea

Also the driving simulator that I cannot wait for is Transporter, but it is constantly being delayed.
AHAHAHAHHA dirt 2 a rally sim?
HAHAHAHAHA
yeah i actually really agree with your laughter...dirt 2 seems too...well i don't know how to explain it, but it just doesn't seem like a "Rally Simulator" per say
3D driving school and transporter look really cool.
reallife.exe
Actually, driving a car in real life is the shittiest simulation ever. Why? Because it wouldn't be a simulation you dumb fuck.
Forza Motorsport 3
